The beach is indeed beautiful although i expect it to be even more beautiful without the crowds. The water is clear and sand is fine. If you don't like crowds Palombaggia is not for you.

The beach is beautiful. On-European, even what Caribbean. But a lot of people know this. We went in the evening to Tamaricciu beach (beach next to Palombagia), grab en route a pizza — and had diner at an almost empty beach. You can park your...More

Palombaggia beach is probably one of the best beaches on Corsica. 2 km long with 3 nice beach clubs in the south end. Best beach club is Tamariso, and best place to eat is Playa Baggio.

Its about 10km - 20 minutes. Best to check with the hotel. They can probably arrange transportation or just hire a taxi.

We stayed in Bonifacio in the south and Cslvi in the north… both are surrounded by beautiful beaches just a short drive away, but Calvi is probably more suited for people with kids to be honest. The old town of Bonifacio is... More
