We had originally planned to go coasteering (Sea Canyoning) in the morning but they had to cancel due to another group dropping out. They offered us to go Canyoning in the afternoon but this meant we had to change our plans slightly. We were a bit disappointed at first but that feeling changed as soon as the activity started! We had Sam as our instructor who was great! He explained everything very clearly in French and English and was really nice guy to talk with. The whole day was fun and varied. Including a zip line, slack line, a big swing and a bit of abseiling! Thank you!!

Excellent day of river canyoning in a beautiful area. Lots of great jumps and also some rappelling and tyrolienne. Safety equipment and advice good. Excellent guide. Throroughly recommended. Easy and quick to communicate with the team prior to trip. Good value for money too.

we spent the afternoon with Sam doing the medium level canyoning session. The whole process for booking worked really well, excellent English language (as our French is limited). We even changed our preferred day with only teo days notice - with no problems whatsoever. The actual trip was superb. Sam was a great guide, providing interesting insights into the stunning mountains and then when the descent started, he was very reassuring and professional. He is clearly very capable and professional. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed the challenge, some great jumps, a tightrope walk, zipwire and an abseil... I would highly recommend Balgne Montagne.

I was concerned with the Melaghia canyon maybe not having enough water end of Aug (as stated on their website) but we had a remarkably good family experience. If you are looking for real excitement with older teenagers I would suggest to take the long trip up to Corte for some more serious work but this was a good family experience to get a taste of what canyoning is like. I've done some more serious canyoning myself and this is very different, more for kids I would say. We were a small group of 8 with the youngest being around 10 years old, everything was safe, fun and very beautiful. Friendly guide also. What I personally liked most is the scenic surroundings we were in. I am only giving it 4 stars because of one small safety issue, the car of the guide is a very old and the seat belt in my seat was broken, we had some rain on the narrow canyon road and I felt less safe in the car vs. in the canyon. Get that fixed please.

Thank you for your review. We are very delighted that you had a good time in the canyon. About the car of the guide : the guides take people for free in their car to help those who do not have a car and encourage carpooling. We are, i believe, the only canyon company to do it (everywhere else, appointments are set at the departure of the canyon). But it is clear that we are not a taxi company, and we encourage those for whom the comfort of the car of the guide would not be sufficient to follow with their personal vehicle.

Our family (with 8-yo son) visited Fango Valley with our guide Samuel, we had an absolutely amazing day. Great guidance through slides and jumps, nice conversations, absolutely gorgeous locations and a fantastic ending with an 8m jump from beneath a historical Genovese bridge. So much fun. Would highly recommend to everyone with younger (and older) kids.
