Me and my little sister wanted to visit the Loch Ness closer than with a cruise and this was the perfect way. The guide was really nice and explained stories about the loch and Scotland, the rest of the group was a no-show so we had him all to ourselves. I recommend it to those looking for some fun, that... We booked on the day through the Rothiemurchus Centre just outside Aviemore. We chose the 50 minute Segway experience - there is a 30 minute option but in my opinion this would be too short. The off-road experience took place in a field and forest 2 minutes walk away from the Rothiemurchus Centre with ample parking nearby. We had a... More

We booked on the day through the Rothiemuchus Centre for the 50 minute Segway experience. The experience takes place just across the road in a field and forest track. We had a 15 minute instruction before setting off on the trails. The instructor was excellent and we all came off grinning with excitement. 50 minutes went in flash. Would thoroughly... More

Our group arranged white water sledging session with Boots N Paddles for the day after my friend’s wedding at the end of May. We drove to an arranged meeting point close to a river near Aviemore, where the Boots N Paddles team had arrived with a van of equipment. The team were excellent (especially considering most of our group had... More

We hired a Canadian canoe for the Great Glen trail last minute. Everything was spot on and very reliable. Went above and beyond with 'out of hours' communications and help. Thank you

For the second time I hired kayaks from Boots n Paddles. I went back to them specifically because they had been so good the time before. Their kayaks are in excellent condition and there is a good range. They throw in all the other stuff you need (drybags, spraydecks, etc) as a matter of course. The organisation before the trip... Was really chuffed with all aspects of how this company helped us with our holiday. Easy booking. Good value. Good equipment (and replacement of one damaged kayak within an hour of our call when issue arose). Super friendly and reassuring staff - John is a great guy! Good advice about our trip from Fort William to Inverness on the Caledonian... More

Brilliantly organised afternoon on the Gorge with Mike from boots n paddles. Lots of very interesting facts about the scenery and the wildlife, and even time for a coffee and a piece of shortcake. Mike is a really nice guy and very well informed locally. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Not normally much of a reviewer but wanted to drop a thanks to the team who helped with my trip. We rented touring kayaks for 3 days and paddled from Inverness down Loch Ness. The equipment was spot on, the staff were really helpful with the booking and advice. When they dropped off the gear we got loads of useful... More
