Fantastic trip with Chris this morning around the south of Loch Ness. We were a group of 4 adults, 5 kids (11x2, 13x2, 14) with varied (but not much) canoeing experience. Chris was an excellent guide and instructor - great mix of encouragement, explanation, humour and patter/knowledge about the local area. We had amazing weather, which definitely helped. But regardless... More

I booked a 2.5 hour session for myself and three others. Mike our instructor was excellent and ensured everyone in the group knew what/where/why and how before leaving dry land. We were guided around parts of Loch Ness taking in sights, facts and local history all whilst paddling about. The session is suitable for all abilities, even those who've never... More

For the 3rd year in a row SiMBA, Simpson's Memory Box Appeal have partnered with Boots N Paddles for a Canoe & Climb Challenge on Loch & Ben Lomond. From beginning to end Calum, Mike, Brenda and John were faultless in their support and in enabling our participants to get the very most from the weekend. Nothing was too much... More

Used this company to organise a day for a hen party. I chose a mini highland games and what a fantastic day we had! Organisation and communication before and during the day was great. Malcolm, our instructor, was brilliant and coped admirably with 13 "hens". This is something that could be done for any type of group but works especially... More

Great trip in the Tay, starting at the loch and then downstream to Perth (well not quite, too much sitting back and relaxing, but the driver was very helpful in finding a take out point). Boots n paddles are an excellent hire company. Good value, decent equipment, helpful drivers and excellent advice and help from Callum. Many thanks to a... More

I had a fantastic experience canoeing Loch Ness from Fort Augustus with my tour group. Our instructor Mike was very friendly and made the experience really enjoyable. I feel like this is a must do if you are wanting a fun activity, i had never been canoeing before but found it easy enough to pick up. Maybe don't wear footwear... More

Did this with my 2 sons aged 18 and 15 at The Abbey Fort Augustus looking down Loch Ness. Great fun, tiring and more difficult to stay upright than you'd think. Good value too. Another family on the same session seemed to find as much to laugh about as we did. Company owner Mike facilitated and was very chatty and... More
