nice valley with a lot of history around the cultivation of roses. personally i don;t like its smell, so not of my interest in general.

The contrast of the green, the bright flowers and the desert around it makes for a wonderfully photographic setting. It's non stop villages along the road, and there are plenty of places to stop and shop or eat.

We went to see an oasis and a valley of roses. A 200kmround trip produced neither, no water, not a single rose except those for sale along the road. Maybe it was the wrong time of year?

I visited this valley at the beginning of may, the period that should be harvesting of the flowers. The valley is pretty with many ksars and oasis. But there aren't roses, or better, they are very few, they seemed to me little or not cultivated....More
