Beautiful church with lovely altar piece. We say in the UK as old as the hills and it looked like it had been there forever. I would recommend that everyone looks at churches is Spain as it's their history and shows an era from history...More

Well worth a visit. Looks more like a fortress than a church. Very impressive main porch with fine sculptures above. Simple but interesting rose window. Some nicely executed capitals. Noble and royal tombs and if doing the Camino an interesting retablo about the life of...More

Santa Maria la Blanca is an imposing Templar Church on the camino frances. The raised platform and few windows make it look more like a fort than a church. It's worth 15 minutes inside.
