Not sure why, but all other pilgrims were stopping to go into this church, so I also stopped. Impressive ...but it is still just another church.

Beautiful church with lovely altar piece. We say in the UK as old as the hills and it looked like it had been there forever. I would recommend that everyone looks at churches is Spain as it's their history and shows an era from history that's missing in the UK.

Santa Maria la Blanca is an imposing Templar Church on the camino frances. The raised platform and few windows make it look more like a fort than a church. It's worth 15 minutes inside.
