it was my second time visited this musuem.this museum just beside kertha gosa, there are rooms exhibit artworks, like painting and sculpture.many paintings are works from the famous Italian painter Emilio Ambron.besides, there are 3 main rooms which are storage areas for collectibles, each of which is used to store a collection of prehistoric objects, historical objects, and Klungkung handicrafts. it is an ideal place for tourists who want to know the culture in Klungkung. if you come to visit kertha gosa,i suggest you come here to know more about klungkung history.

Very happy that our friend suggested accompanying us on our tour, we visited attractions that were mostly unknown to us or had been previously ignored. It also helps that Bali is now promoting its history. The museum is located in the Taman Kerta Gosa complex in an elevated position with temples and well-maintained gardens. A number of rooms were not accessible, but the remainder housed an impressive collection of traditional garments, sculptures, paintings, weapons, earthenware, household utensils and more. Certainly worth visiting.

At the back of the Terta Ghosa is a small museum. Most visitors see only the first 3 rooms as the remaining rooms are in another wing leading up to the government offices. Across the road under the monument is also a room and together they provide an excellent overview of the Klungkung History from the old days up to the Liberation Struggle, including the particulars of the Kungkung Royals and culture. If you get tired than just sit down in one of the many side warungs near the market. Have fun!

On a tour and didn't have much time. I was through in 5-10 minutes. Some really colourful costumes and plenty of information. Part of the city tour, even though it looks like two are markets and the rest are all next to each other.

This small museum in the Taman Gili complex is meant to display the history of Klungkung (or so I guess), but it feels unloved and half abandoned and is definitely uninteresting.
Though they have a lot of items, the information and explanations provided are so bad that it is quite hard making sense of anything.
Artillery shells in the 'prehistory' room, copies of old newspapers slowly rotting away, some photos, no obvious logic in any of the displays.
Definitely missable.

Take a guide and have a look at some of the old history of Bali.
We found this very interesting with some of the oldest exhibits we had seen at museums. Take the time to stroll the gardens and enjoy the carvings.

It is a beautiful garden to see, the museum is interesting also for the history but nothing exceptional and the displays are poor. But the whole please is beautiful all together and if you are around stop by it takes you half an hour to see it all.

fascinating museum covering the relatively later occupation of Bali by the Dutch. Interesting set of exhibits.

This small museum is located on the right hand side of Kori Agung courtyard in the grounds of Kerta Gosa and worth a visit. It is filled with artifacts relating descendants of Klungkung King and craft objects that contain the typical history of Klungkung.to Bala
