Excellent martial arts school.

I spent 6 months training at the kru pedro school: 4 months of intensive fighting arts lessons and 2 months of internal martial arts.

I had never practiced muay thai or Thai martial arts before and i can say that the training was demanding and very rewarding both in terms of krabi-krabong the weapon system and empty hand practice which are complementary.
The training of muay thai sangha is structured, clear and efficient.

I have met a lot of different and humanly rich people and the group atmosphere of the school is friendly and pleasant: no one is here to judge you, each one arrives with his personality, his experience. The goal being to improve together and become more sharpen.

Here you will not be in a big metropolis. The school is located in a village closest to nature which is more suitable to concentrate on training.

Kru Pedro is someone very experienced in martial arts through all their components: fighting, internal, spiritual...
His wife Kru Tip teaches yoga classes for flexibility, stretching and differents kind of breathing. She is very attentive to the students and her method allows rapid progress in terms of flexibility and relaxition.

I learned a lot during my stay here in martial arts and in self-knowledge and i continue everyday to discover the depth of Kru Pedro teaching.

A final word on the internal martial arts system that Kru Pedro has designed. It is for me the best system that it is given to me to practice.
Concise and practical unlike many internal martial arts teaching but just as energetically rich. This unversal system is truly a great treasure

Thanks you kru god bless you and your family.

This school advocates neutrality and non-aggression in all aspects of life, and the martial arts system at Muay Sangha aligns with this delightful philosophy to provide students with a harmonious experience.

I loved how Kru teaches that to free ourselves from suffering, we should learn to become neutral. Thus the aggressive/stiff student will be encouraged to let go, the soft/passive student will be pushed. Make no mistake - the training is very tough and the martial arts system is lethal - but the priority is on keeping the mind neutral, so if you're an aggressive person looking to train Muay Thai to beat people up, this is not the place for you!

The new Internal Arts martial arts system that Kru and TK have been developing is, in my eyes, the most incredible thing about this place. It is hard to put into words what it entails, but do check Pedro Solana Villalobos's youtube channel (the blue one) for some examples. Students are completely spoiled by Kru's unbelievable diversity of martial arts experience, and the technical training you receive is far more precise and informed than anything I have experienced. In particular, Kru's terrifying knowledge of the limitations of the human anatomy makes for many a winced face during training when he demonstrates his various techniques!

Finally, I was made to feel at home immediately by the humble, non-macho students and instructors. I came in low season (August-September) where there were few students, meaning I got lots of one-on-one training. I would recommend coming at this time for people who are serious about the training.

Thank you so much to Kru, Anna, TK and everyone else for this enriching experience which has helped me become more aware of myself and will give me a warmer outlook on life when I'm thrust back into city hustle and bustle!

Muay Sangha is a true martial art school training the body, mind and the soul.
No problem if you are a begginer, this place has much to offer and help you to grow. If you decide to start or try out martial arts this is the place.
If you are more advanced the school will polish your skills and knowledge, especially on the internal side.

The accomodation in the school is clean and nice, the
environment calm and relaxing.

Thank you Kru Pedro for the lessons and the guidence!

My experience with Muay Sangha was unique, fantastic, very hard and improving under many aspects, like: discipline - hard work - love - knowing ourselves - and obviously a better knowledge and using of martial arts.
One of the first things that i've learned with Muay Sangha is that martial arts are not meant to be used to harm but to avoid that from the start.
Once i understood This lesson my training was based on love and good energy, especially among the people that i was training with and also sharing the room/dormitory.
This is an awesome experience away from the stress of society close to animals like horses (JenJen, DiDi) birds ( Puffo and the twins ;) exc….
The Master and the instructors are amazing and very patient.
They will give you quality teaching and nothing less !!!!!
The people at Muay sangha are special in many many ways….and every day that passes by i miss them and love them more more and more.
Muay Sangha it's FAMILY….
I suggest you to give it a try without expectations.
Peace & love xxxxxxxxx

Muay Sangha is the most free form of expression I have ever seen. Under the guidance of Kru Pedro I was not only able to broaden my understanding of martial arts, but the world and universe as well. The knowledge I received from Muay Sangha will help me overcome all challenges that I encounter in this life.

I used to think it would be cool to be a champion fighter. Now I am more interested in preserving my health and learning how to move. In my last trip to Thailand, I learned more about my emotions than I had in the rest of my life up to that point. If you decide to train at Muay Sangha, I guarantee you will not regret it. I would like to thank Marco for all the time you spent working the clinch with me, Aaron for the rounds of sparring, Ivan for helping me with my round kicks, TK for sacrificing your own training so I could learn, all my brothers who were training and living with me in the mountain, and Kru Pedro for welcoming me into the Sangha family and because without you, I would not have met all of these wonderful people. Thank you.

Thank you Pedro and your team for the most amazing training and experience. This is something I had wanted to do for a very long time and Muay Sangha was the perfect place and all my expectations were exceeded. It was tough but the rewards immense. The sense of place, community and hard work and spirituality make this training like nothing I have ever come across. You have created a magical place and life philosophy and thanks for sharing it with other people. I will be back. For sure.

I spent one week at Muay Sangha, and I intend to return as soon as possible for a much longer stay. If you are interested in world class instruction on the science and physics of martial arts, as well as its application to walking a spiritual path, then I highly recommend that you visit this school.
Kru Pedro is, hands down, the best instructor that I have ever encountered. Period. He brings to the school a wealth of knowledge that he's accrued from decades of study in a multitude of traditions. Class sizes are small (around 8 people,) as Kru Pedro insists on forming relationships with each of his students so that he is able to tailor his instruction accordingly.
The vibe at the camp was so positive, I made a lot of great friends from around the world, all of whom were imbued with a spirit of humor, humility, and generosity.
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to study at this school, and feel very lucky that I chose it over any of the others in the area.

A great place to do something good for body, mind and soul. I came here by "coincidence", without any knowledge and experience of Muay Thai or any Martial Arts and had only one week. 6 hrs training per day, meditation, impressive verbal discourses by Kru Pedro, lovely care by Anna, motivated people and a great motorbike trip into nature made it really hard to leave. Kru Pedro and Anna offer a place where you can feel home while working on your development, the small group of students let it feel like a family. Definetely one of my best experiences in the last 8 months of travelling around the world.

I'm not sure I can provide a review of Muay Thai Sangha since I only live near the owner Pedro and his wife Anne. But I often see them at lunch with some of their students. Every time I have privately asked a student their opinion of the program I have always been given a thumbs up. They always have told me how much they enjoy training with Pedro and like his programs. .

Kru Pedro shares what he has learned during his lifelong study of different martial arts and spiritualities. Balance, energy, precision, and awareness exercises mix with explosiveness and power mix with philosophical insights, all in a fun, positive and respectful atmosphere. The day is well structured and left me with enough energy to continue the next day. Very engaging learning environment. Two thumbs up!
