Via Sabrá put together a well thought out balanced itinerary appropriately sensitive to the current times in Israel. The events we attended were poignant and educational The accommodations and restaurants were superb!

I took 15 member of my synagogue on a mission to Israel. The trip was absolutely fantastic. I heard from so many people, "I had high expectations-- and it was even better than expected!" The range of activities, quality of the speakers and organizations we met, and impact of the experiences were just breathtaking. So many tears, so many laughs, so many good questions and even more great answers. Our guide Yona was simply extraordinary. The flexibility with accommodating changes to the agenda and people joining for only part of the trip was amazing. I could go on...... But I will wrap up by saying, Todah Rabah from the bottom and inside of my heart.

Via Sabra organized a wonderful itinerary for my husband and me on a recent trip to the north of Israel. The entire team from our tour co-ordinator to our guide and company contacts were attentive to our requests for a trip that included active travel, culinary experiences, geopolitics, history, and culture. They did not disappoint. Our guide was engaging and extremely knowledgable, offering valuable insights into the region. Without a doubt, Via Sabra will be our Israeli travel company of choice for our future trips to Israel. Thank you Via Sabra for an amazing trip!

Wow. Where to begin ?

We were a small group of 5 women coming together to experience the cuisine of Israel and discovered so much more… culture , history , politics and in the process developed deep and meaningful friendships through these amazing experiences .

We began our tour in Jerusalem , travelled to Galilee and Tel Aviv and from the get go ate and drank like royalty !

Warning ! Be prepared to eat and I mean really eat, as in I wished I had started boot camp training for this weeks in advance. What I realized through this your is that Israeli cuisine spans the scope of worldly cuisine because Israel is a fusion of so many cultures.

I ate food that was beyond anything I had tasted . Explosions of flavors I would say.
Between markets , farms , kibbutz and restaurants I tried a massive variety of foods that scintillated my palate .

I also was incredibly fortunate to have Orit as my tour guide . Orit goes above and beyond to make every single experience on this journey enriching , fun filled and full of knowledge . I ended this tour completely in love with Israel and its culture because of her.

I can’t recommend Via Sabra highly enough to do them justice. They are professional and ultra accommodating and plan amazing adventures. Go try for yourself. You can thank me later !

Incredible hiking trip on Shvil Yisroel, the Israel National Trail. The variety of trails was fabulous, as were the guides, especially Segev, and all the attention to detail. I was able to "live" the trail. We had amazing food and uncommon cultural visits. This is a fabulous trip for people who have been to Israel before and have done the "usual sites" and museums.

I can't wait to take my next trip with Via Sabra!

Barbara, thank you so much! Your commitment to the trail, and to the group, brought an additional and unique value to the trip. This experience would not have been the same without you and we can't wait to travel with you in Israel again soon (next time, without the falling bottles)!

Via Sabra is a unique company and group of people, who take their role as ambassadors for Israel as well as professional tour operators seriously, and succeed in building adventures and tours which are at the same time incredibly special and enjoyable and also meaningful and uplifting.
Many tour providers see their business as just that: a business. So while they may be efficient and professional, and even friendly, they're doing a job. Via Sabra prides itself on seeing its work as more of a calling, and the team clearly not only loves what they do but are committed to ensuring that visitors learn to love the country - land and people - as much as they do. And achieves this!
I saw it up-close, hiking the length and breadth of the Land with them on their 'taste of the Israel Trail' trip in May '23, where their personable, professional, efficient, flexible and inspiring guides and staffs did a fantastic job juggling the challenging logisitics of this part-hiking, part-touring experiment exploring the Israel Trail. I'd jump at the chance to do it again in an instant - and hope they do plan more!

Terry, it was a true joy to watch you connect with the trail, with the group, and with Israel, throughout this experience. We hope you took as much away from your journey, as we did from getting to know you. Thank you.

Via Sabra is not your every-day Israel tour company! Without dissing other operators with whom I've traveled - Israel has the world's best tour guides, across the board - Via Sabra excels at off-the-standard-path places and people. We hiked 5-10 miles per day on selected, often historic segments of the Israel National Trail. We were all active seniors (60-80 y.o.) and the hike options (and opt-outs) were suitable for all. We met a cultural smorgasbord of Israelis while hiking segments of the Sh'vil Yisrael, the Israel National Trail. Instead of seeing things in Israel, we saw Israel in all its beauty and diversity. The accommodations varied from kibbutz guest houses to luxury hotels with the common denominator of great food. Our primary guide and the several part-tiime, local guides were all excellent. This was the first run of a new tour and it ran quite smoothly. Many days we fell behind our packed schedule but guides did a great job of adjusting timings on-the-fly. I would travel again with Via Sabra in a heartbeat.

Rick, what can we say? You are a mensch of the truest form and it was an honor to have you with us on the trail. The pictures you shared with us brought the trail to life for so many others who followed along on your journey. We can't wait for you to bring your good vibes back to Israel with us!

I just completed the SHEFA tour and I'd take it all over again! It's a unique women's tour of off-site locations in Israel. Not your regular tourist spots - which are important and worth visiting, so this tour is for women who have been to Israel before. We explored the projects of passionate Israeli women who wanted to help others and fulfill their own dreams in the process. From a workshop to help sex-trade workers get off the street and learn to sew colourful bags and knapsacks etc from used parachutes; to a remote goat farm in the Galilee built from scratch by a couple who serve a full course meal (including 10 types of home made goat cheeses) to visitors who want to experience something different; to a kitchen in Akko where Arab women learn to demonstrate their cooking skills while creating a community with their Jewish neighbours. The trip organizer herself is a passionate young Israeli woman. What a trip!

We were a family group of four, two of us on mobility scooters and two of us very slow walkers with bad hips and bad feet. One of the best decisions we've ever made was to engage Via Sabra to manage our recent trip to Israel. The care and attention they gave us was extraordinary. Tour directors, guides, drivers all went way beyond anything we expected or have experienced anywhere else -- and I have traveled on all seven continents, so I know whereof I speak. And most surprising of all; they did it for us at the last minute. We didn't contact them until three weeks before our departure date when it became clear that this was a trip that would be difficult to manage on our own. And then, we changed our minds about things several times during our time in country. Yossi, our main guide, and Maayan and Jake, our reps at the Via Sabra office, literally went out of their way for us time and time again, from spending half a day at the post office to acquire stamps for our postcards to running from place to place in Tiberias looking for somewhere to get us a credit card cash advance; from adjusting the daily itinerary to accommodate our weariness to waiting while we had a late -- rather than the planned early -- dinner to take us back to our hotel. The list could go on and on. You expect a guide to be knowledgeable but Yossi and Martin gave us more than just facts about the places we saw. They put history, sociology, religion, politics, geography into context for an understanding of today's Israel with its complex tensions and opportunities. And they did it while making us feel that they genuinely cared about us, that we were their friends. Yossi was with us for the whole week and Martin, for a few hours in Bethlehem. We highly recommend them and our drivers, Walid and Eli. We cannot praise Via Sabra enough for making our trip extra-special and unforgettable.
