As a photographer I was contracted to photograph an American group for the day. Let me say that this is the first time I've visited this course. The car park is large, well kept, the clubhouse very modern, unremarkable but well appointed and very clean. The clubhouse is raised right up with great views over the course and the old... More

I did play Cruden Bay last year in dense fog and even if I did not see anything I had the feeling it was something special! Now returning for a round in sunshine it was pure magic. With a very special layout it is not a true Championship course. But who is a Champion? I am a golfer appreciating the... More

I didn't know what to expect for my first golf experience in Scotland. This course, and all the folks involved made my experience spectacular! The views alone were worth the walk, the course was in wonderful shape, narrow by my standards on some fairways but certainly made shot placement and club selection important! If you want to play golf in... More

Cruden Bay is in my view the best links experience in the near-Aberdeen area. Though Royal Aberdeen might have more finess, Cruden Bay is a propper challenge yet forgiving and with a great atmosphere and terrific staff. Having a caddie or playing with a member is recommended with many blind shots, and for only £10 I would also go for... More

I LOVE Cruden Bay Golf Club. It's quirky (where else can you find a blind tee shot on a par 3) and challenging (the walk from the 8th green to the 9th tee required TWO breaks to catch my breath), but it's a FUN day of golf! It's the best course you've never heard of. Don't miss it!

This is a great links course! The views from some of the holes is unmatched. Some very challenging holes! If in the area of Aberdeen well worth the drive up to play.

The staff at Cruden Bay Golf Club are fantastic; a great course, wonderful views from the clubhouse across the links. Whilst the golf course provides a wonderful experience so too does the dining. The food is plentiful and fantastic. A wonderful local experience

Played 2 rounds in the day, and were very lucky to get perfect golfing weather. The course was quite soft tho - heavy rain for most of the previous few days. Visually this is stunning, and there are many really great holes. Generally you walk up to the tee on the old cliff line and play down to the fairway,... More

As a member at this club, I regularly play golf and have a meal after in the clubhouse. The food is excellent, having just appointed a new chef, great choices and also a carvery on a Sunday. Great prices and friendly staff make your visit a pleasure. Highly recommended.

A GREAT golf course. Stunning layout. Lots of elevation change. A lot of fun to play. It even has a blind par 3 - my first. I was put off at first but them I embraced it. This is a GREAT golf course.
