2 buildings on a half acre "movie set" "main building" is falling down and unimpressive. Other building has been turned into a toilet. Views of the Rio Grande are OK, but better places to look at scenery. There is a pay box. Unless a die...More

There’s only one building left at the site, but it’s set is a way that makes for a nice photo with the rocks behind it. There’s a picnic table down there and you can see the river. Ok place to snap a photo and stretch...More

While not a lot is there, we had fun checking it out and reading up on the movies that have been filmed there.

Only one building left and it's been broken into from the back. Doesn't look like much of a set just one abandoned building!

Driving the scenic highway we made a stop here for a picnic lunch. The site has sheltered picnic tables, bathroom, and a short little trail down to the river. Views of the river were good. Not much of a movie set is left but that...More

There is only one building from the set left which is disappointing. But the area is very pretty along the river and has a couple of picnic tables. It is right on the river. But best of all there is a clean restroom.

It that it? That's about what you will say when you pass it. It's good if you see the movie before visiting but other than that, there are a lot more things of interest to see.

It's worth about a 15-25 minute stop. Much of the set has succumbed to nature and is in ruins. It's interesting to see how sets are made so different scenes can be shot from different angles using the same building.

There was a miniseries called Streets of Laredo filmed there. There's only one building left now so It's a little underwheling, but still makes for a nice photo.
