We visited Onepio to do the gold wine tasting which was excellent and great value for money. Most importantly we tasted a number of great wines - we were allowed to pick which ones we wanted to taste from a selection so it can be tailored to personal preferences. We had some lovely local cheeses and other snacks to accompany also. Our hostess was really knowledgable taking us through each wine and how its grown and produced. She struck a great balance between talking to us and giving us time to just enjoy the wine. We stayed for a drink after in the sunshine and ordered a few bottles to be sent home also. Very glad we visited.

I did the Gold Wine tasting a couple of days ago. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. We arrived at 11am and it was quiet but they were ready for our arrival with a glass of their Prosecco. Me and my friend were then taken to the grapes were the member of staff explained how their wine was made which was very interesting and I learned a lot. We were then taken to our own private room which was ready with meats, cheeses and of course their delicious wine. We were talked through each wine, how they were made and had some time alone to enjoy them. The gold tour said 5 wines to taste but we definitely had more than that - they were very generous. We then sat out in the sun and enjoyed another glass or two before leaving. My first experience of a wine tour and it was excellent. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed, even their dogs came to say hello! The wine was so delicious I ordered a case to take home. Would recommend!

Review of: Pic-Nic
As someone that has done many wine tastings and tours this is one of the most enjoyable times I have had. It was easy going, relaxed atmosphere. We sampled some wines then enjoyed a simple picnic. We sat outside to eat some finger foods and enjoy some wine. It was a great way to spend a few hours or so. We were joined by some friendly dogs, which was fine with us as we love dogs but the hosts did make sure that they weren’t disturbing us. So if you don’t want the dogs hanging around they will be taken away.

The wine tasting experience was extremely informative, all of the wines were so tasty and the winery is beautiful. We ended up buying a fair few bottles to take home. I can’t wait to visit again next year!!
