Decided to visit this bar after reading previous reviews. Went for the Super Tuscan wine tasting (wine tasting with Bruno and Lucio). Wine was good but no atmosphere, no real explanation other than what kind the wines were and just a few pieces of dried cheese to accompany the tasting. Yes the bar has bra's hanging from the ceiling which are 'novel' but that doesn't make up for the lack of everything else.

We visited here this evening based on a very positive write-up in travel guidebook but we're extremely disappointed! The place was reported to be a lively spot offering a variety of local wines which varies by the day in addition to their regular offerings. When we entered at 6:30pm there was no one else there yet we still felt like we were putting out the young server by expecting to be served. The wine menu did not appear to be freshly printed according to that day's special offerings so I asked the server if there was anything in the selection of special open wines of that day that was not on the printed menu. He took one bottle from the group and set it apart on the counter and that was all. So much for a group of selected wines daily for tasting (in addition to the standard wine list). We asked about food and we're given a menu but it was not presented until asked. The wine prices appeared quite reasonable at average 4 euro or so until we saw the half sized glasses! The servers/owners/etc. all hovered outside of the entrance smoking cigarettes and the smoke permeated the interior of the restaurant! ! There was an older man working there who was fairly friendly but in general it was an unfriendly, dull, smoky, place with nothing to recommend it over other places available. We would never return and would not recommend it.
