Annie was a guide extraordinaire! She gave us the perfect introduction to Volterra. 3 hours went by so fast. We loved her stories and all the "off the beaten track" places she showed us. Highly recommend her!!

I went on Annie Adair's walking tour of Volterra Italy. I found the tour to be very informative and enjoyable. If you go to Volterra,I would sign up for her tour,I cant quite see being in Voltera without taking Annie's tour. Annie is very informative and passionate about the history of Volterra. When coming to a place like Tuscany and... More

Our first day was a Montalcino tour with the focus on wine, wine and food and wine with Francesco. We started with an eye-opening tour of the estate of La Fiorita. We met with the head agronomist, the assistant wine maker and learned about the entire wine making process. They were just bringing in some of the 2015 harvest and... More

My wife and I had a 2 hour tour of Volterra. We have travelled all over the world seeing many churches, cathedrals, palaces, etc. so we were more interested in the less frequented areas of Volterra and Annie delivered. Annie is as good as they get when it comes to a private tour guide. She knows all about Volterra and... More

Annie took us on a historic tour of Volterra. We were a group of 8 which included 4 teenagers and they said they really enjoyed it! The tour ended with a look at an alabaster workshop which was brilliant, a great way to finish the tour. Annie is full of knowledge about the surrounding area. An absolute must if visiting... More

We had the pleasure of joining Francesco for a full day wine tour & trip to the Mad Butcher for lunch. Francesco met us at our agriturismo outside of Volterra and began by telling us about the different types of Italian wine. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable (& personable!) We learned a lot and I... More

Annie is an engaging guide for Volterra past and present. We enjoyed her insider's stroll through a fascinating history of Etruscan high culture, Florentine atrocities, a WW II dramatic rescue and how psychiatric patients saved the Roman Theater. Francesco is a sommelier who speaks of local wines with a humble and humorous take that is not intimidating but very informative.... More

Annie Adair took a small group on a one hour tour of Volterra in April 2015. She was enjoying herself so much she asked if we minded if we went over (a half hour over) and it was unanimous we wanted more. Her knowledge and her passion for her city was tremendously evident and we enjoyed every minute of the... More

We had a two hour guided tour of Volterra. Annie was a highly dedicated guide with thorough knowledge of Volterra. Her passion for the city made the tour very interesting, also for the children. This tour was worth every cent!
