There appears to be numerous sites around Viterbo. We went to one across the road from a military base. Absolutely amazing. Multiple pools right next o the free parking. The pools are free and step back and consider the history. around those pools. Just too...More

Coming from Northern Scotland, hot springs are the most brilliant treat and these were excellent. Simple concept, just six big” puddles” of hot, hotter and hottest water, with basic changing rooms and dodgy portaloos, we wallowed for ages, chatted to various locals and tourists alike....More

Nice place for kids to play and for adults to rest and enjoy the hot waters. Challenging to find place to hide from the sun. 2 pools for kids to stay - 4 more for adults with hot water. No bar but vending machines available,...More

For 5 euro, you can spend the whole day. The pools are arranged by temperature. From warm to very warm. Healing effects from the waters.

Down a dirt road, these springs are difficult to find unless guided by a local, but worth the effort. 3 different temperature pools and a kid's pool. Virtually all Italians using it rather than tourists, and a small motor-home park next to it.

Truly unique experience. Several thermal baths in the middle of a field with the city of Viterbo in the distance. Interesting place to see.

Not over-sanitised, just lovely thermal baths in a field. Just like the Romans would have done. We were there on a very cold, windy October late afternoon, and shared the baths with around 50 locals. Baths were just lovely and warm, but getting out was...More
