The Place at real has nothing in Particular except the landscape and the adorable view from the mountains around. So if you are visiting Capo Carbonara or Villasimius is a great option to stop and have a look around. Probably you spend between 40 to 1 hours to looking all around fort and view.

We stopped here on the way to the beach just to admire the hill top view.. There was no one else up here when we arrived so we weren't sure we were in the right place but we walked over from the parking lot and along the way admired some spectacular views. You can see a few beaches including one... More

It's a beautiful place to visit - the view from "Fortezza Vecchia" it's an indescribable thing. The color of the sea seen from this point is fabulous! I also recommend read before a little bit about the history of the fortresses of Villasimius - it's interesting and the point of view about the tour will be different. Great place to... More

A nice view to the coasts around and to the other Towers. Entry fee of €2/per person was a bit of a disappointment. However there was a yound student studying history and was showing us around and explained the importance of this fortress. She was very Kind and was doing a good Job explaining the historical aspects. We were even... More

The fort is quite imposing from the tourist harbour and is an easy walk from there with nice views on the way up. We were dispointed when we got to it to see that it was not only closed but appeared to have been abandoned and the inside to the fort no longer open to the public. The signs were... More

Great view from the ruin. You should visit this place for the view, and enjoy the sun down over the sea. We did not go inside, but did not fell the the to do that. There is only open in the morning.

i would recommend cycling or taking the car to visit this place. aside from the actual building the natural surroundings are quite breathtaking. worth taking your swimsuit and taking a dip in the area.

The fortezza itself hasn't much to see but its history is interesting, and the views are wonderful. The rock formation around the area is fascinating.

Massive portions, you will not leave hungry. Good food. Good service and suit all budgets with a tourist menu that started at €15.00 including a beer, wine or water!!
