Terrible experience all round. No communication of the change in itinerary, we basically found out at the point at which we arrived at Isola dei Cavoli instead of Punta Molentis beach, where we stopped for an hour. We got back on board, and headed back in the direction of the port (instead of Punta Molentis). We stopped for lunch, although you could not really call it that - hard, dry and cold pasta, octopus salad that had a strange test of old fish and vinegar, and fish and fries fried in oil that might have been older than me (and I am not young!) Then we went to another beach very close to the port - it seemed like they were more worried about how much petrol they would use instead of honouring what they advertise. Staff constantly smoking, super uncomfortable bench seats and no space to walk around. They didn’t even sell water to drink! To make matters worse I stubbed my toe on a screw that was not covered, but nobody seemed to care. Don’t take your kids because they very clearly do not take safety seriously. By the afternoon you just felt desperate to get off the boat, but even the short ride back to the port seemed to take an eternity due to how slow they go. The boat just did not seem fit for purpose (to compare, I did a a trip that cost the same but saw 4 beaches, was served lunch and aperitivo with edible food, on a big boat with space to move around - all in the same amount of time). Do not waste your money or time on this trip, there are others much better.

Best day trip I have ever been on
The crew were not just friendly but absolutely outstanding, their portions of food were extremely generous, this raised the atmosphere amongst all the guests onboard. The beaches visited were lovely, and was great to be able to dive off the boat.

This day boat trip was the best in our stay in villasimius. Well the service and the staff are amazing, the food is highly rich, the price is very worth it, this was unforgatable excursion for us during our holiday, well done fiore di maggio from Malta.

We were a bit hesitant taking this excursion due to the length and being that we were traveling with an infant. However, we were assured by our hotel that it would be fine and that taking a stroller aboard (naps) would be no problem.
The boat and crew are top notch. Lots of friendly like-minded excursioners and plenty of families. While not a 'party' ship, there is enough (free!) wine and cheap beer to allow you to enjoy yourself as much as you'd like. The food was incredible - it's amazing that they turn out the quality and quantity in a galley kitchen (galley... galley?).
The beaches and swimming opportunities, some of the best in the Med, are not to be missed. The price at 50 euros pp might sound steep for some, but with the duration, the crew, the food/drink, side swimming trips - there is a lot of value, and young children are free. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Just go!

We had a great trip onboard the Fiore di Maggio - and it was excellent value for money! They arranged transport from the bus station to the boat for an extra 5 euros - a 50 minute walk or 5 minutes via their transport - and even waited 20 minutes for us when our public bus from Cagliari was late!
Once onboard we travelled to our first beautiful beach and had the opportunity to snorkel with the fish (or you could get the rib boat across to the beach). Afterwards lunch was served - plenty of pasta, fish, calamari and prawns, and it was all delicious! There was free wine and water provided all day onboard, as well as coffee and local liquors at lunch. We then travelled to the second beach which we had to ourselves for another swimming break, before heading back to port. All round a great day out!

Very relaxed day on a boat with plenty of fresh food but of moderate quality.
First beach addressed can also be reached from land so no additional value for going by boat.

Good trip - food was reasonable - crew were good fun - got to swim in the ocean and around the boat / also stopped off at beach on way there for about 1 hour and another beach on way back - didn't see any fish - but maybe that's for another trip. Quite pricey -would do it again but would look out for one where you get to swim with fish .

A one day group excursion in a 20 meter gulet, to reach the most beautiful beaches in South Sardinia.
When I did it, we went to Punta Molentis and Cuccureddus (see photos).
Lunch on board is included in the price and is of good quality.
Cruise starts at 10.15 a.m. from Villasimius and, on request, there is a shuttle bus one way and return from Cagliari or Costarei.
The price is affordable: on August, I payed 50€ adult fee for the cruise plus 10€ for the transfer from Cagliari.
When I did it, we went to Punta Molentis and Cuccureddus (see photos).

Le norme anticovid vengono rispettate? Ad esempio per quanto riguarda il distanziamento sociale (soprattutto sui gommoni)
