    Bucolic!
We had a great time with Gianluca, his father Mario and his friend. We had a tour of the vineyard and Gianluca explained to us the story of his activity (production of Vermentino, Cannonau and honey): the wines were amazing, biologically produced as winemakers used to do many decades ago. We had lunch under the carob tree together with other people coming from all over the world! And that’s one thing that I love. We had porceddu, casu axedu, a particular cheese that I’ve never eaten before, mullet, pecorino and finally some homemade biscuits with mirto. We also had the chance to hear an opera solo by one of the guests who was a tenor! So I recommend spending time with Gianluca and his family be cause they’re genuine and welcoming people!

    Best wine tour!
Gianluca, the owner, picked us up from our hotel nearby, and was a legend from start to finish. Giving us his story as we walked through sun soaked vines, he answered any and every question we had about the grapes, the wine, anything. He let us pick and sample the grapes; they were sweet and so delicious. After some time we sat under a tree in the shade to drink wine. And boy did we drink. His wine was smooth and, frankly, smashable. We sat under the tree l, drank great wine, sampled his Mirto, pork sausage, cheese, bread and honey... What more could you want?! I've been on many wine tours, and this was by far the best.

    A truly authentic Sardinian experience!
On our 4-day stay in Villasimius our visit to Calline del Vento was definitely the highlight. Gianluca, the owner, is someone who loves his wine and is truly passionate about what he is doing. He first showed us around his vineyard and explained to us how the wine is grown. After that we all sat under the shade of a huge tree tasting the wine and having some snacks (cheese, sausage, honey and bread). We also had the great opportunity to stay for lunch with the vineyard owners and it was just the perfect experience. We were gathered around a huge table drinking eating laughing (even though we don't speak Italian). It was just a perfect ambiance. If you're interested to have a great day in nature with some lovely local people, absolutely recommended! You won't find a fancy wine cellar but you find people who love wine, delicious food and good talks!

    A dreamy vineyard experience
We had a wonderful afternoon at Colline del Vento. It is a very special, and romantic experience which cannot be replicated. The generosity of Gianluca and Mario knows no limits - there was no shortage of wine, cheese and bread to go along with the tasting. We would highly recommend Colline del Vento to anyone who wishes to experience the natural, raw Sardinian country side and delicious tasting organic wine.

    An amazing wine experience
An amazing ‘uncommon’ wine experience with great traditional Sardinian food. The farm owner Gianluca tells you his stories with passion and gives a tour with a special twist that cannot be compared with. Definitely a big recommendation to do when you are in the southeast of Sardinia!

    Authentic and memorable wine tasting.
We enjoyed very much the warm hospitality of Gianluca and his father, the wine was also great but what makes this wine tasting special is the human connection and the genuine hospitality. We turned up unannounced but made felt comfortable straight away. Don’t expect something fancy this is a rough diamond experience! I can only recommend and it will stay with us for a long time.

    True local experiance
We did the wine dinner with the father and son onwers. If you are looking for a small winery, amazing food and captivating conversation, this is a must for you. If you don't have a car, the owner will pick you up and take you to the vineyard, the wine is made at another location. If you do have a car, he will meet you in town and you will follow him. To get to the location, it is a dirt road drive and there is no perminate building at the winery. Just a patio, few tables and chairs and a bar. The food was on a spicket over a fire being powered by a car. The lights were powered by another car. The rustic atmosphere made the night majestic. Upon arriving you will be given a quick tour of the vineyard, explination of how they make thei wine and then the tasting beings. You can have as much or as little as youu want. I truely got the feeling that the owners just wanted to make sure everyone was having a great time. After the tasting we sat down at the table and had a 3 course meal, homemade little gnocci with sausage, sucking pig, sheep, goat cheese, and Sadrinian desserts. Only once everything is done and you are about to leave do you talk about paying for the experiance or buying wine or mirto (homemade liquer) from the owners. They want to make sure that you are fully satisfied before talking business.

    Decent wine tour.
We decided to book this wine tour late on a Friday evening for the following morning due to the supposed bad weather (turned out a little windy but that was it). We were glad we did. After a walk around the vineyard, Gian Luca explained how he grows his organic grapes for a limited number of bottles of wine to local restaurants. We were invited to eat some of the grapes before sitting down under the canopy of a large tree where we sampled both his white and red wine along with some cheese, meat and cake. Some of his home made grappa was also passed around. Well worth a visit.

Great wine and the best sucklin pig, brought to you by lovely people.
What a unique and raw experience. Mario and his son Gianluca (fluent English speaker) first showed us around in the vineyard. Already the white and red grapes were delicious. The wine, for us especially the Fermentino, typical for this region, was even better. Lateron, candles were lit, and we were sittin round the table, havin more wine, pasta, and the best sucklin pig with the crustiest skin you can possibly Imagine. Grilled in a hole in the earth to perfection by the third good guy up there, Mariano. Above the whole scenery, there was a full moon shining. A blue moon even. The 2nd full Moon im August, which made that evening a 110% experience we will not forget. Home we took a bottel of delicious, crispy Fermentino. For a special Moment in the Future, back Home in Germany. Thank you, Mario, Mariano, Gianluca and Claudia, the girl, who is organizing the tour, bringing guest and company together and can give precious advice what else to do in Villasimius, Cagliari etc. BIG THANK U, GUYS!! Very nice evening with good wine
We visited this vineyard with a group of friends and also enjoyed a dinner there. Gianluca is very passionate about his wine but also a nice, down to earth guy. The wine flowed freely and was delicious, as well as the food. We got to eat roasted pig and some kind of poultry which were both very flavourful and tasty. We can recommend this experience for everyone looking to have a nice time with friends or family in Sardinia while enjoying local products. Thank you for a lovely evening Gianluca!

Couldn't of asked for a better experience, we just wanted a chilled evening in the vineyard. The picnic selection was lovely and the orange wine was great.
The location is perfect tucked away with views of the mountains.
Communication was great from the beginning and even taking us to the vineyard.
I would 100% recommend and would come back for the evening tasting as well when we return!

This was a great experience. Not something for fine dinners. You are escorted to the vineyard and take a quick tour just in the field. Gian Luca and his family are your hosts. You sit in the field at a long table and drink wine with excellent cheese an salami. You then eat roasted sucking pig and lamb. I sat with Gian Luca and we ate with our hands. Delicious. There were also tomatoes, pastry and a liquer. Gian Lucas father, an older man who spoke no English cut me peaches and put them in red wine—awesome. We met nice people and were there for almost four hours. This was so much fun and should not be missed.

The place is so beautiful you wouldn't believe it. The guidance from Gianluca was great since he lives the passion from his business in his daily basis and after the quick tour, we had the tasting and every wine was even better than the previous one. I liked all of them but if I had to pick one, it would be the "Orange" wine which was a complete shock for me to drink a whire wine that looks orange hehehe. It's a "most".

We just wanted an informal wine-based evening with no hard-sell and good food and that is precisely what we got.

A short walk through the vineyard was followed by an informal tasting and a meal all against the backdrop of the setting sun.

New acquaintances were made and the conversation flowed to the point that we completely lost track of time and it was 11pm before we knew it! It was all very laid back and totally relaxing.

Great company, great wine and a great evening.

Would thoroughly recommend.

For my friends and I, our afternoon at Colline del Vento was the highlight of our trip. The vineyard was beautiful and Gianluca was a friendly, knowledgable host with an incredible selection of wines.

Gianluca went above and beyond to not only ensure that we had a fantastic afternoon at the Vineyard, but also a great trip in general, assisting us with airport taxi organisation and recommendations for the local area.

I couldn't recommend a trip to Colline del Vento more. Thank you Gianluca!

We had an amazing time at the vineyard! Gianluca and his family were so accommodating to a large group of 15 of us, gave us a beautiful tour of the vineyard and we had amazing wine and authentic Sardinian snacks. The setting is beautiful to sit and drink about the wine while learning about how it’s made, and the food served is beautifully paired with it. Gianluca created a very relaxing atmosphere. I will be recommending this vineyard to anyone visiting south Sardinia!

Amazing wine tasting and vineyard tour! Very friendly and knowledgable hosts. We did the walk through the vineyard (maybe 15 minutes), and tasting. The hosts were very generous with the tasting (as much as we liked, really!), and included local cheese, meat, honey and bread, which were great.

The best thing we did while staying in Villasimius - such good value and they really could charge you a lot more! Also very easy to organise a taxi through them - great experience, thank you!
