Clean beach with clear water but very busy in high season. Big plus is the free parking and the restaurant near the car park. We managed to get a table at lunch without a reservation. We weren’t looking to hire any sun beds so we can’t say if there are any on offer.

Although other reviewers have said the beach is dominated by the Cormoran Hotel, there was plenty of room the day we visited. The parking is free, so a bonus. If you are early enough, you can park behind a building that will give you shade. We visited many beaches on this part of the coastline and cannot understand why there are so many dilapidated building behind beautiful beaches. There is a good restaurant for Lunch, Dinner or snacks at the back of the beach. The beach does shelf quite steeply so Ii would be careful with youngsters entering the water.

When we visited in September although there was a very nice restaurant, there were no beach chairs for rent. Indeed the beach was mostly taken over by the chairs and umbrellas of the large hotel that fronts the beach.
All in all much better options nearby, like Simius and Guincoa

This is a smaller beach compared to Simius but less busy. Arriving at the parking area near ristorante il Miraggio around 11.30am, we still managed to find a space and it was free. Literally 2 minutes walk to the beach and found a shady spot under tree near the restaurant. The sand is like rice grain, not as fine as Simius, but water is crystal clear. It is not shallow like Simius hence not suitable for young children. We saw some fish swimming around under our feet.
If you want somewhere quieter and less busy, this is the place to come. But I won't recommend for young children. Instead, Simius or Porto Giunco are much better for young children.
Miraggio is excellent for snacks. Very reasonable price for ice lolly, drink and sandwich.

Been there twice, amazing clear water, not so crowded.
Free parking if quick enough in shadow under the trees.

Busy sections reserved for local hotel, the rest of the beach is fairly quiet and has easy parking. Crystal clear waters.
Climbing over the rocks at the east end of the beach reveals a small sandy beach where the snorkelling is excellent. At times it felt like swimming in an aquarium.

The beach is perfect! Crystal clear water, golden soft sand and is surrounded by trees! The scenery is very beautiful, the beach is small and quiet! There are chairs and umbrellas but are available only for hotel's residents! There is a beach bar that is property of Cormorano hotel but any visitor can buy water, coffee or have a snack! Also, there is a restraurant! The entrance is free and there is a big space where visitors can sit!

After checking out a few beaches around villasimius we settled on spiaggia Campus. The beach is wide and broad, easily accessible, and parking is free. The sand is mostly white and soft but not in all places. The water is not very shallow but very clear. On the very left end of the beach upon arriving is a spot where turtle eggs are expected to hatch anytime, and it's also in front of a rocky underwater area with plenty of fishes (preciouss) and a few octopuses which is really cool for snorkeling. You guessed it - unlike the other beaches reported by yours truly so far, this one is RECOMMENDED😀

We spent an hour on the beach after a lovely meal at Il Miraggio Restaurant (on the beach). Like so many of the beaches in Sardinia, the water was crystal clear with wonderful white sand. Again like many of the beaches there are hawkers who try to sell you all sorts of things, but they were not too persistent and after one visit, they did not bother us again.

Nice beach to stop at if exploring on the scenic SP17 road from Cagliari to Villasimius. We visited in mid-June and the beach was not busy, there was paid parking available.

There is a hotel located on the beach, so I can imagine during the height of the summer the beach gets busy.
