the best beach is an empty beach! there is really nothing more to say to that. it is blue flag water.

This iconic monument jutting out of the sea is an amazing marker on an amazing beach. We loved the experience and plan on coming back for the sun and water in future vacations.

I have visited this beach often since the late sixties and it is always a marvel to behold the giant limestone monolith commonly known as the Pizzomunno. The summer months are the warmest months to visit and naturally the busiest. If you just want beach time, stay at one of the nearby hotels and avoid the hassle of driving back and forth. Parking is almost non-existent and a major headache for this popular touristy town. From the Pizzomunno Hotel or Hotel degli Aranci or Hotel Falcone, you can easily walk to town, to the beach and the old city, but avoid mid-afternoon walks. The summer heat is suffocating and brutal.

This is a wide expansive beach close to Vieste with a dominating single pillar of rock garnished by a romantic legend. Safe and shallow sloping, an ideal spot for safe bathing with children.

It's a big rock. It's a pretty big rock. And if you are in Vieste, how can you miss seeing this lovely big rock? I'd say: no, you can't.

We found this a very sandy and safe beach in Italy. Most of beach belongs to private hotels but some public beach noted.

The beach and this rock monument are beautiful. The White rocks contrast with the blue sky and the navy blue sea, it's worth the visit if you're in Vieste

Ringrazio in anticipo.
