Nice to do once or twice

This is a very nice and HUGE pine forest with many long straight flat trails. I came here a handful of times during the winter both on foot and by bike. It is very peaceful and not at all crowded when I was there. The east / west trails heading to the beach are the most popular. Sunday is the most popular day and, otherwise, I generally only saw one or two dog walkers on the other trails.

Depending on how you look at it, the trails here are either a bit boring or very meditative. I love to walk and to be outdoors but the trails are all perfectly straight and look alike, so walks grew a bit monotonous.

Real deep forest

This is Very pleasant place for running and walking. Through this forest, we shortened the path to the beach. Way 1.5 km long elapsed in the shadows li ke water. On the edge of the woods near the road occasionally meet prostitutes. But, all without problem.

Sentiero della Lecciona / Viareggio

The nature is always the nicest to visit, this" sentiero " is for a nice walk in a deep forest,
a little bit wild, with flowers, also wild orchidees; you can easily walk about 2 km in this forest.

Strolling in the park

What an amazing place to stroll around with your 4 legged friend and maybe hubby/partner/BF/GF A lot of shade in places if you're going around in the hot sun. Lots of different pathways to take, just be careful you don't get lost :)

Nature as Natural as it get

the forest is huge and you can observe several species of animals and birds running free.
some wildpigs came out of the forest not too far away from La lecciona, and the locals are feeding theme periodically enstablishing a nice friendship.
