- ENTELA FILOAlbania113 contributionsVery nice beach BistrotBistrot Bagno a Pace is a very nice restaurant just in the beach in Viareggio. They offer a real Italian cuisine with very fresh and bio food selection. Sabrina, the owner is always helpful and smiling and very kind to all the clients. The portions are big and the price you pay for all this quality and quantity is the half of what you pay in other restaurants nearby! This place is very requested even by locals so it’s better to make a reservation first. The waiters are also very nice and kind, especially COCO that even in his rush hour, finds the time to take pictures when the clients ask for!Visited July 2024Traveled with friendsWritten July 28, 2024
- Michelle J26 contributionsBeautiful, Italian beach experienceA lovely beach club, with a value for money restaurant on site. We had an umbrella and two chairs included in our hotel package, but we often paid an extra €10 for an additional sun lounger The staff are friendly and polite and very helpful. The sand on the beach is beautifully tended and the chairs are comfortable and clean. The restaurant offers a good range of food at a reasonable price so close to the beach. The coffee is excellent. And they were able to offer half sized portions of food for children. There is a pool on site, but you must wear a swimming cap in the water.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 15, 2024
- SueGedrychWaterloo, Belgium7 contributionsExcellent Beach! We have been coming to La Pace for many years as a family and as a couple and we love it. It’s a nice spot, facilities are good and the service is friendly and excellent. The daily pasta specials (when they have them) are really excellent and the whole food menu is local. Best place for an early evening cocktail when the sun is setting!Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 18, 2024

First Italian beach experience and took some getting used to. The plots are VERY close together but that is true of all the beach clubs. This one was recommended by our hotel The Palace across the road, you get a voucher and present it at the beach club, not sure why as there is no discount, the hotel must get commission that’s all I can think. VERY expensive, 30 euros for a parasol, deckchair and director’s chair, each sunbed is an extra 10 euros. You do get tge use of a cramped closed in pool but not wirth it. Service is ok except for the lady who seemed to be in charge who was very rude and discourteous which stuck in the throat being as you are handing over so much cash each day. We had had enough after 5 days and tried next door - much friendlier and only 25 euros plus an extra 5 euros for a sunbed. My advjce- shop around

The structure is very beautiful! The staff is rude.
The kitchen opens at 12.30 and my girls (10 months and 3 years) had to wait 40 minutes for plain pasta and a hamburger (which also arrived burnt!!!), while the others at the table were already eating despite having ordered later! But there are mistakes... but apologizing is the minimum!
We hope in the auctions for the assignment of the beaches which will perhaps improve the management of the beautiful structures that are in this area!!!

A place where you are always at ease, where year after year you find under the umbrellas friends who age with you and children who create company. Family run, all the staff are friendly and kind, they make you feel at home! The beach is always clean and tidy, cared for carefully. A perfect place for all kinds of people and ages. The restaurant offers dishes suitable for everyone, of excellent quality and goodness!particular the pancake and tuna!!the price is compared to the quality of 'good food that is served to you! The perfect saltwater pool to entertain the kids! Nothing is missing, a special place to spend happy days and for those of us who have been going there for so many years, to relive memories and leave our hearts.♥️

Two of us stopped to eat for lunch and unfortunately it wasn't a good experience, I'm giving it a two only because the dishes we took were good (although the portions are very small). The service, however, is a real disaster: we had to wait half an hour just for a waiter to consider us to order. After another half hour to receive a starter and a first course. Being on holiday we took it easy and didn't complain, but what really didn't sit well with me was the arrogant, opinionated and lazy attitude of some of the waiters. One might wonder why they were hired but when I had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with the owner, who put the POS in front of me without even looking me in the face or saying a courtesy 'goodbye, thank you' because it was too much. busy talking about her business with a friend at her side, everything was clear to me. I love Viareggio and you can't lump everything together but unfortunately this bathroom is the emblem of those Viareggio people who think they are the ones doing a favor to the customer who spends with them rather than the other way around. I therefore suggest spending elsewhere.

Fabulous lunch spot & beach club. Enjoyed a Prosecco, beer & melon & prosciutto in the restaurant area whilst enjoying the beach views. Beach club looked impressive

clean sand, located right opposite to the hotel, beach slopes very gently into the sea, showers, plunge pool, cafeteria/bar/pizzeria. Usual visits from beach sellers and masseurs, but no hassling when their wares are declined. Despite signs saying dogs not allowed, plenty of dogs being taken for walkies, so probably lots of buried "surprises" for tourists, best not to think about it. 25 Euros a day for beach umbrella and loungers, it's the going rate

Impeccable bathroom from the point of view of courtesy, elegance, cleanliness and food. I have rarely found qualities of this type in the same bathroom

This was just across the road from hotel. You have to pay to go on most of the beaches here. This one is very clean where you get deck chairs and sunbeds and use of a pool as well. It's cafe is also very good

How much does it cost for a guest staying at the city hotel viareggio and is the shallow enough for a non swimmer to enjoy. Thank you Georgina

The pool has a small side pool for children which I'am sure you could go in I am none swimmer but did not go in the pool. The sea is ok if you want to go in but not to swim as you can walk quite a way out but be careful it dips down like a shelf at the edge then is flat . The cost for a full day is 20 euro which includes 2 deck chairs or directors chairs and 2 sunbeds + brolley.
