Great safe walking in the evenings. Also rented a bicycle at the nearby park. Well maintained bikes at reasonable prices.

WE thoroughly enjoyed our walk along here. There are plenty of seats if you get tired; plenty of places to stop for refreshments; and numerous shops (quite a lot with expensive clothing). Very little views of the sea; but some very attractive buildings.

La Passeggiata is at the heart of every local. They usually have a stroll on a Sunday when it is also quite crowded. At the end (or beginning, depending where you start!) there is Il Molo (port) where you can admire all sort of boats...More

A romantic stroll along the passeggiata, a gelato or espresson on the way, is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Viareggio.

Beautiful flat walk that seems to go on forever. Lined with lots of super shops and plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours. Wide and spotlessly clean walk ways with the sight and sound of the sea.

Purtroppo per quanto riguarda la Passeggiata si! E condivido con lei ogni possibile giudizio negativo. La spiaggia libera, vasta e molto bella, si trova soltanto in Darsena e più precisamente alla Marina di Levante. Subito... More
