We love this walk!
Aug 2019 • Family
We have completed the walk twice now with a young child; the views are absolutely AMAZING!
Highly recommend and a must when visiting Torbole!

Be sure to set off early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday sun, as it gets extremely hot and humid up there. Take plenty of water and snacks as there is nowhere to purchase these; and make sure you don’t get the bus back when it is dark (we made this mistake!) as the road is pitch black waiting at the bus stop, quite dangerous with cars flying up and down.

Beautiful walking. Amazing views, bad ending
Nov 2019 • Family
For some strange reason, the start of the course was hidden. The advantures park hides all the signs and replaced them with his signs, and a different route is marked with blue. The original route sign was removed. If we took the new one, we would have missed all the fun with the ladders.
The route is beatiful. Amazing views. Very easy and most of the time, protected from direct sun light. Perfect route.
The end, however, is bad. Very dangerous.
A sign tells you tou walk 350m to the local bus station. There was no bus station.
The road is narrow. Drivers driving very fast. No sidewalks. Looking for troubles. The nearest bus station was 4.6 km. I had to hitch hike. Very bad ending.

It is a really nice walk surrounded by nature with quiet and fresh air. On a sunny day the view is perfect.

Amazing hike with beautiful views!

It was a great way to actively spend a day. The walk wasn’t very hard, but it takes around 4/5 hours to go back and forth, so make sure to bring plenty of water if you’re choosing to go on a hot day. The stairs were the hardest part of the hike. Would recommend to everyone to go on this walk.

Nice walk in steady surface

This is not a city walk, so wear good shoes and loose sport clothes. Ladies can leave their handbag home, use backpack instead. Take water to drink, at least 1-2 litres depending on the days temperature. If you're afraid of heights, this might not be your walk. There are crossings were you might get confused, choose the better path, it leads you to the right direction. This route has poor signs.

This was amazing

We walked the Busatte-Tempesta Trail three times. The first time we walked there and back, then did it again about a week later. It was absolutely stunning, lots of butterflies, great views of the lake and mountains, and of course up and down the 400 steps, lovely paths through the forest.

A must see if lying by the pool bores you silly.

We started at Tempesta and walked up from there. Keep a watch for the Busatta sign, we walked past it. However it is a beautiful walk and we would consider just taking the walk to Garda the next time. Good walking shoes are a must and not advised for people with mobility problems or fear of heights. Start early it gets exceedingly hot after 11 in the summer months.

Amazing view

This was really amazing experience! A few kilometers of way through mild terrain and wonderful view of the mountains around and the Lago di Garda below. We started at the info point in Torbole and ended our journey in Tempesta on bus station. We stopped and enjoy the look at every point of view, so the journey took us almost three hours. By the way here is no refreshment.

Great, spectacular views and not too challenging
Aug 2018 • Couples
Great hike with amazing panoramic views. One way aprox. 2,6km. As we went there by car, we did round trip which was still ok and not too challenging. We parked our car in Tempesta up the hill and it was easy to find the path to start the hike. If You want to do It only One way, I would suggest to do it from Tempesta to Busatte. In this way you will take all the stairs down. If you start from Busatte then be ready to do 254 step stairs which can be challenging for some people. A must do hike if you stay in Lake Garda!

An interesting but not too challenging walk.

We took a bus from Malcesine and started at the end away from Torbole. The path is well marked with frequent opportunities for photographs including panoramic views across the lake. In places are notices giving information on many aspects of the area including flora and fauna and geological information. The iron steps are quite steep so not recommended if you're not at least reasonably fit. The plus side of the steps was that it deters the usual mountain bikers hurtling down the paths at stupid speeds ignoring pedestrians and making a general nuisance of themselves. A very enjoyable amble which I will probably do again. Walking along the river down from Arco to Torbole has priority at the moment.
