Worth visiting

Nice ancient ruins with a great view over the town and the coast line. Definitely a place worth going.

The temple has undergone a remarkable upgrade since I last visited five years ago. It's now clean and well restored with a small gift shop showing an interesting but perhaps too patriotic video of the history. It gave a good introduction to the temple that made the visit more rewarding.

We were lucky to have a cloudy day to come here. I am sure it must be tough visiting in the hot sun but on the one cloudy day we had we came to visit this temple. We walked from the old town, piazza municipio where the catheral is, and I would not reccomend walking it from there. We were... More

Old ruins but on a very nice location far above the ocean and the city below. You can still see where the old buildings were located . There is small bar inside the park where you have to see the sunset, so get in there prior to the sunset when the heat has gone already . Amazing view over the... More

We were there several times. Apart from the interesting ruins, we love watching sunset from the terrace bar just inside the archeological site. Bring along some warmer clothes since it might get windy.

Sadly, like a lot of Italy this region has suffered from the downturn in the economy and is in serious need of funds to preserve and upgrade what should be an important historic place. The views are amazing!!!!

I never heard of this temple before taking the Coursera Roman Architecture course, but it is very interesting. There are hardly any remains of the temple, but the platform on which it was built is truly famous. The views are splendid even if you are not a lover of "old stones"!

To reach the place in the top of a hill is already a good journey with some places for pictures, but there you will walk around the ruins and with some views of Terracina city and of the ocean that are breathless. If you have the chance, enjoy.

It's a precarious drive up the mountain, about 10 minutes, with plenty of parking at the top The ticket office run a (miniature cinema style) video to help you understand the history behind the ruins, and ten minutes later you're free to wander around and take in the sights Worth the trip if you're in Terracina?, yes. Top tip: you... More

The ruin of the pre-Roman temple has an interesting history shown in a short video in the ticket office. The ruins are largely collapsed but the views of the coast are breathtaking. Worth a visit for an hour.
