Take your time, you will be rewarded and surprised. This corner of Italy is simply stunning. It is unique, rugged, and diverse. Mountains, lakes, authentic towns and people. Wonderful produce.

The only thing I can say, Sulmona is extremely lucky to overlook such a mountain! Exploring both of them will definitely give you an experience.

Maiella Mountain is fantastic! You can see Maiella around Sulmona like a beautiful paint in its blue and green colours. In autumn you can see the yellow leaves on the ground and in front of you Maiella is shinning like gold...Amazing!
