Great amphitheatre in good condition. For just 4 euros I had the place to myself. Wonderful example of Roman amphitheatre with examples of artefacts left at funeral sites.

This is a rather small but well kept museum with some very nice and interesting artefacts from different periods of Umbrian history. Always nice to see something but only Roman or Greek history!

I love museums, but they wear me out fast. This one is compact and purposeful in its displays of Spoleto's history. Lots of artifacts, in fact, are those of daily life—small decorative items, jewelry, and such survived. As I studied some of these small pieces—pins and such—I wondered if they, like our misplaced earrings and such, were lost by someone... More

This museum is extremely interesting and visually beautiful. We wandered around the Roman Theatre, following in the footsteps of the gentry, who had a special entrenched. The theatre is still used today for concerts and plays.. Inside the museum there are archaeological finds from Spoleto and its environs. We found the toilets did have toilet paper!!

The museum was interesting, but the visit was let down by none of the toilets having any toilet paper, and this had been noted by previous visitors in the visitors book, so it was an ongoing situation!

Interesting roman theater. Small enough to walk through when it is hot. Close to centro storico and restaurants.

The archaeological museum and the Theatro Romana were two of m favorite things in Spoleto. It is small, but a nice place to go to hang out and look over the scenery. It has a stunning view of the valley, and is an interesting place to learn about the history of Spoleto. Go see it!

Don't miss this one. Full of lots of interesting history and objects. What I disliked was that there wasn't more to see.

It's literally a 10 minute walk through but quite interesting to note the mosaic floors. Not a "must see," but if you're within range, and want to spend a few euros, go see it.

If you like museums, this has plenty to interest you. Your ticket also entitles you to wander around the Roman theatre (both the ruins and the reconstructed part). If you don't like museums very much, you can get a good view of the theatre from Piazza della Libertà.
