Built as a memorial chapel for the parents of a Pope (Sixtus, the one who also did the Sistine Chapel) it is now open for visitors who come to admire its Rococo interior (a 'modernisation' done in the XVIII century)

A "must see" attraction of Savona no matter you religious affiliation. Simply beautiful. So simply located you wouldn't know without the sign outside. Lovely.
