We really enjoyed this class. Although it is not in the centre of Sorrento (actually it is in Sant'Angello, the neighbouring community), it was not far at all by taxi, train, or a 30-ish minute walk. We learned how to make a proper pizza AND pasta dough. We also made a delicious basic tomato sauce for either pizza and pasta.... More

We had a cooking lesson and meal with Chef Carmen at La Cucina del Gusto and had the time of our lives. Chef Carmen was patient and so much fun and taught us that making pasta is not as intimidating as we thought. The class was perfect for our group even though some of us could cook already and others... More

I tried booking from the UK before going to Sorrento, but for some reason the site would not let me do that so we walked round to the venue and booked direct with them. We are glad we made the effort as the morning we spent there was one of the best experiences of our holiday. There were only 4... More

This is my forth visit to Sorrento and in the past I have always walked past this school wishing I was part of the excitement that always seemed to be buzzing from the resort grounds. Well on this occasion I decided to book for a 3 hour hands on experience starting at 10am in the morning. This cost 75 euros... More

Spent a fantastic morning from 10-1pm making Italian recipes. The recipes were were kept simple and achievable to make at home with minimal ingredients used. Chef Mina and the interpreter Monica created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We made three courses -ravioli, pizza and tiramisu. The fish course was demonstrated by Mina. They were very informative of the basic do's... More

We loved our 4 hour cooking lesson at The Sorrento cooking school. The staff couldn't have been any more generous or accommodating, especially as The Lonely Planet guide book gave an incorrect address & we arrived almost half an hour late. They catered to my pescetarian needs, too. The food we cooked was so delicious that everything else on our... More

We had. A fantastic day at Sorrento Cookery School. The recipes were kept simple so we could all achieve them at home. There was a nice mixture of hands on cooking and cookery demonstrations. We were in a small group so were able to spend time with the chef individually. We ate most of the food we cooked for lunch... More

Ordinarily a research and analytical guy like myself gives little thought to the herculean culinary achievements that result in the exquisite and delectable products that are routinely prepared for our dining table. On this rare occasion a set of cooking classes for dummies was about to be conducted in a Sorrentine villa under the experienced auspices of some fine and... More

Our hotel booked this for us, it was ok but a bit basic and limited cooking, apart from some kneading and whisking everything else was done, the other couples kids had fun and it seem to suit them better.

We had a great morning learning to make some classic dishes such as pizza, ravioli, fish in tomato sauce and tiramisu. The staff were very friendly and informative and made the session very fun. We got to eat all the food we made along with generous amounts of wine!
