We stayed with our our 2 years old son as suggested by hotel's staff as very funny for children.
Place is reachible by car, by chairlift or by walking thu side path, at the top view is fantastic to see Dolomiti's mountains!
There is a flat grass field where child can run in safety and a children playground.
There is a recommended path which is delimited by fence where the cows are free to walk and anyone can see them very close, at the end of path there is a small lake.
It is reccomanded the tracking baby stroller or children's backpak.

We've visited Monte Pana with two small kids during the summer vacation.
There's a nice chair lift up the mountain and another chair lift for 4 up to Seura mountain (all our family in one chair lift - nice) where you get very close to the 'white peaks', amazing panoramic views, farm animals all around and a small hut for refreshments on a table in the middle of this nature scenery (there are many trails in this area but we skipped those at this time).
We've got back to Monte Pana and hiked by the Pana Raida trail where there are 10 kids attractions along the trail which makes it very interesting and fun for them.

Monte pana has 6 rope tow lifts and one chair lift. The latter takes you to the top of Monte pana where 1 blue, 2 red and 1 black pistes begin. The pistes are well prepared and remain in good state until the end of the skiing day due to the small quantity of skiers (in comparison with the other skiing places near Santa Cristina). Nevertheless Monte Pana is connected with other Dolomite Superski places and Sella Ronda with the piste starting at the upper station of the chair lift. The rope tow lifts are for beginners and kids. They lead to the well prepared blue pistes. There are specially equipped pistes for learning jumping slalom and the piste with artificial obstacles. One route (allegedly freeride) passes through the forest edge with figures of different animals and birds - very attractive for kids. The Santa Cristina Ski School meeting point is also there.

There is a lift up to here but we walked it from Plan, Selva. The actual place is obviously there for skiing but in summer you can walk to the base of Sassulongo from here. There is a huge hotel here but unlike the rest of the area I thought the whole complex was on too big a scale for the location. It seemed popular with families.

In winter this huge area of meadowland is laid out in a number of ski runs all of which are suitable for beginner to intermediate skiers. When it's snowing this is a great area to go with many of the runs passing through the trees.

Great place to bring beginner level skiiers. The slopes are easy but not too short. We were here at high season so there were a lot of queues for the chair lifts and t bars. But if you are looking for a good beginner spot, this is the place.

We came to Monte Pana en route to Alpe di Suisse. We explored the area checking for a good rustic type restaurant but with no success. The scenery is beautiful but that goes without saying for the whole Dolomiti region.
