Enjoyed this little museum of herbal pharmacotherapy. I found it fascinating that many of the herbs we use today, were used hundreds of years ago. It didn't take much time, We spend a lot of time in the store, fascinated by the products, everything was in Italian, so needed help figuring things out. Love the digestive teas!…

This well-kept museum is worth visiting as it only takes about an hour. It is well-organised with various rooms ranging from ancient medical books, to the 18th century pharmacy. They have pots of herbs all clearly labelled which you can touch and smell. Everything is well-kept. They even have a room to show how plants were picked fresh then hung to dry, containers of all sorts, and even the "laboratory area" that shows how medicinal plants were mixed and brewed. You get a 10% discount in the Aboca shop after visiting the museum.…

We very much enjoyed our visit exploring the history of the medicinal use of plants. Lots of interesting old laboratory equipment and dried samples of herbs. Takes no more than an hour.
