Punto Panoramico Delle Tre Cime is a viewpoint from the top of Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Tre Cime di Lavaredo is within the boundaries of a natural park. Aussichtspunkt auf die Drei Zinnen was formerly known as "Tre Cime Viewpoint" and was later renamed "Val di Landro", which is the only viewpoint in the valley with a view of The famous Three Peaks In a stopover filled with culture and landscape In the past, this area would have been a parking lot that was not very attractive to travelers to visit.
The most popular highlight for taking photos is the sculpture. It's called "Gateway" where you can enter and take photos in a rectangular wooden box. To get a clear and beautiful panoramic view of the two peaks of Tre Cime.
In my view, I feel indifferent. If you want to say wow in a pinned way, you have to come and get it. But it is a way to go to other tourist attractions. Next, come to see and take photos as a reminder that you have come here. which foreigners are popular with

An amazing place. Beautiful nature, wildlife and stunning views.
I visted during the busy period, in June, however there were lots of snow so few people enjoyed the long walk - so after walking to the Tre Cime there were not too many tourists on your way.

We entered the park at 9 am on a warm, sunny weekday in July. The parking lots were already filling up. We received great advice from a park ranger: walk the trail clockwise, which was in the opposite direction from what the masses were doing. As a result, we had the first half of the hike mostly to ourselves. After the halfway point, you have the option of taking a slightly higher path, and thus avoid the masses again, who are walking on the vehicle access road. There were a couple of narrow sections with steep drop-offs, of which I am not particularly fond, but no one else seemed to mind. To hike along the mountain peak, one needs helmets and harnesses. We used about four hours for the just under 10 km hike, taking plenty of breaks to take photos, eat, and enjoy the stunning scenery. We were also fortunate to witness an Italian military maneuver, complete with jets and commandos repelling from helicopters. We travel and hike a lot, and both my husband and I agreed that this was among our top five hikes. By the time we left in the early afternoon, there was a long line of cars queuing to enter the park.

Since everything has already been said, I will just add tips.
1. On holidays (the summer vacation lasts until Sept 15) it is very crowded, even until noon. If you arrive after 11, there are no cues next to the 30 euros pay booth.
2. If you want to enjoy the views without hiking up and down the hills - I suggest going clockwise, away (!) from the first refuge to Malga Langalm and back. You will have the wonderful view of the rocks and the dolomites.
3. Sun protective hats and lotions.
Enjoy!

The nature highlight of the holiday region Three Peaks, stunning from all sides and situated in the East of South Tyrol, is the landmark of the high valley of the Dolomites. In 2009 it was declared UNESCO World Heritage, as were all other peaks of the Dolomites. The area is blessed with impressive mountains, uniquely beautiful landscapes with Dolomite lakes and breathtaking green meadows and forests. The Three Peaks with friendly hosts and many attractions are among the most famous peaks in the Alpine region and constitute a major part of Alpine history. The three battlement-like peaks, namely Cima Grande (height 2,999 meters), Cima Occidentale (2,973 meters) and Cima Piccola (2,857 meters) are Main Dolomite. Numerous hiking and climbing routes around the Three Peaks invite tourists to take a closer look. They have been a magnet for passionate climbers and every year many of them conquer one of the peaks. Despite having been climbed countless times, they have retained their magic and their mightiness still captivates all visitors.

We took the 3 peaks shuttle bus out from Dobbiaco which is around 45 minutes and costs around 30 Euro, although our tickets were provided as part of our holiday package booked in UK through Headwater Holidays.
We had maps and guide notes provided and did the main circular walk around the 3 peaks themselves but you don't really need these just follow your nose and signposts and the crowds.
For us we enjoyed the scenery and the views but the volume of people like many hotspots isn't too our liking, on some of the narrower trails we ended up backed up behind slower people or just the volume of people and also passing oncoming walkers along pinch points of the trails.
We took our own snacks and drinks but there's 2 or 3 places to stop for food and drinks around the place so you won't go hungry.
Toilets are available at all these stops too.
Recommend a visit though, it's really a must see if you're already the area but we had more fun on for example the quiet valley walk we did around Dobbiaco where we only saw 2 or 3 other groups of walkers.

The last time we saw the Tre Cime up close was 40 years ago on our Honeymoon, at that time there was no road up to the mountain so you had to walk from Moos up to Rifugio A. Locatelli to enjoy the breathtaking views.
This time we met up with friends from Austria and drove up the toll road.
Unfortunately the road was closed late morning because it was so busy (hint go early)and we had to wait until mid afternoon when it opened again.
This slightly impaired our hike and we had to cut it short by not walking all the way to Locatelli.
Not withstanding the time constraint the scenery is mind blowing with a complete 360’ vista the scale of the surrounding mountains and the Tre Cime is just jaw dropping.
I suppose there is a balance between letting so many people view the mountains because of the toll road offset against the damage it may do to the environment, let’s hope it is properly managed.
This was absolutely the high spot of our visit to the Dolomites, it is a must visit (go early though)

Our intention was to hike the loop trail, however the trail was closed at the second refugio, due to deep snow that we weren't prepared for, so we turned back with many others.

The walk round the Tre Cime is a must for anybody visiting the area. The walk is not too difficult although there are some steepish bits but the views were fantastic. There are at least three rifugios were you can get refreshments and all the paths were quite busy .

Starting at the FischleinTal parking lot in Sesto, hike up to the Dolomiten Hohenweg #5 trail connecting the Czigmond, Bullelejoch and Drei Zinnen mountain huts for some of the most spectacular mountain hiking I've ever experienced. This loop trail is an 18km, 3200ft elevation change, all-day hike. The best spot for lunch is Bullelejoch, the least crowded of the 3 mountain huts, and also the best food.

Sarò a san candido in agosto.

Grazie a tutti...

Dalla stazione di San Candido si può prendere l'autobus che porta direttamente al rifugio Auronzo, esattamente alle Tre Cime.
