Some spectacular works of art spread throughout the gallery which is itself an impressive building and a great location. Definitely worth getting the audio tour (available in Italian, English and German)

Wonderful museum
Dec 2019
It is a little gem probably not well known.
Recommended to take the audio guide that explain the evolution of the modern art in Italy.

Beautiful Museum
Dec 2019
I am not an expert, but enjoyed very much the pieces on display, the presentations, the descriptions of the historical phases. On top of that, during my visit there were two temporary exhibitions dedicated to Isadora Duncan and to Richard Artschwager. Very well done.

Entrance is 11 euros but free with the Trentino Card.
The interior is as stylish as the exterior .Quite breathtaking. Excellent descriptors throughout.
Brilliant start with Hayez 'Venus with 2 Doves' and Dario Wolf's 'The Titans'. Moggioli landscapes.and a stunning room of Paolo Vallorz 'Val di Sole ' colours. Pure Sunshine !
The Room of the Futurists is a design dream . The Novecento Group ,great.
'Roma Anno Zero' held the famous 'Boogie-Woogie' masterpiece. Loved the neon Tube Installation and the Manzoni 'Strictly White'.
Up the swirl of a stair to Floor 2 . Pistoletto and AI Weiwei among others.
Even if you're not into Art, the architecture will amaze.

Great Museum - grumpy staff
Aug 2019 • Couples
If in Rovereto this is a must see. Good collection of modern Italian art with very good information and audio guides. Also some nice non Italian artists such as Richard Long etc.
On the day we had 3 grumpy museum guides which should not put you off but was a bit annoying. Got told off for talking - no other visitors in gallery space at the time. Told off for having a shopping bag and told off for handling books in the book shop. Please lighten up.
Still - you should go.

A good modern art collection
Sep 2018 • Couples
We gained free entry to the museum by virtue of our Trentino card, which our hotel in Rovereto had given us free of charge.

The museum has a spectacular external entrance foyer, reminiscent of a similar modern design within the British Museum in London. Some of the art works were very impressive, and the museum is well worth a visit for anyone vaguely interested in modern and/or contemporary art. Sadly, it doesn’t have a café … but there’s a very nice one a minute or so’s walk along the street.

Cultural visit
Jan 2018 • Family
Spent a couple of hours wandering around the impressive structure taking in the permanent and temporary exhibits. We thought the staff were a too numerous and the atmosphere wasn't as relaxing as it should have been. Make sure you read the explanations (displayed in Italian and English) to better understand some of the more abstract pieces.

Good day destination
Oct 2017 • Family
It costs 11 euros per adult. Family ticket 22euros. The museum is nice. The collection displays avant-garde Italian artists over a century. The visit took us about 1 hour . The town has a few interests of its own for a small town. And 4km away there is the largest peace bell ( Maria Polens). It makes a good day out.

Impressive artwork

The expositions are housed in a impressive building.
On the first floor you find a elaborate modern art collection of Italian artists, mainly paintings. On the second floor you find contemporary art, which i don't always like, but here i found it really nice as well.
