Very nice place to take the sun or lie down on wonderful field under a tree. If you like cold water you can also swim monto the lake.

Nice pebble beach near centrum of Riva (aprox. 10 min walk) The beach has a long promenade alene the waterfront which connects a numerous smal beaches. Its grass and pebbles. You might want to use some bathingshoes. The water is crystal clear and the view is stunning.

The beach is quite crowded but you'll get your own space. The stones are hot and hurt under your feet and are also difficult to walk on, so make sure to pack a pair of swim shoes. It gets deep really quickly so don't let your kids swim unguarded.

The beach is clean and pebbly, with good grassy areas to the rear for sunbathing. There are showers, cafes and areas to hire kayaks/boats/pedalos. The pontoons moored in the bay are great for diving. The main square of the town centre was about 10 minutes walk away.

This is a charming spot running for about a mile along the northern edge of the lake. Very peaceful and calm, Lots of ducks, and in May there were many ducklings as well. Plus fabulous lake views. And hard to think it is only a few hundred metres from the town centre.

Searching the internet for a family beach at Lake Garda came across Sabbioni Beach. What a beautiful place! A soft pebble beach surrounded by tall mountains. We visited in July and had clear blue skies and clean clear refreshing water. There were lifeguards looking out to those swimming out to the floating platforms on the lake. There is parking available, a place to purchase food and drinks, plenty of shaded lake front areas, benches and bathroom facilities - entrance is free. We had a perfect beach day at Sabbioni Beach!

Combination of beach and a park right next to center of Riva. The beach it self is typical Garda beach (no sand but small stones) and most of the people spent time on grassy park side. On late afternoon the local school kids gather here to spent time and play some football - lively place with services like bar, cafe and toilets available.

Mile or so with direct access to the water. Very cold early in season as the water comes off the mountains. Very popular for all kinds of water sports to enjoy or just watch.

We dud visit this beach on a few occasions but for us May is not the time to go in the water as the water was too cold for us. Apparently, June is better as the weather is more of guaranteed.

Having said that it is very clean, the surroundings is picturesque.
But you can see during the warmer periods it can get a little busy.

From our residence it was very easy to walk there within 10min.

Lovely pebble beach on the Northern tip of Lake Garda - plenty of lawns to lie on and then a quick walk over the pebbles and you are in the beautiful refreshing clear waters of Lake Garda. Busy in August but plenty of space to swim or just enjoy the waves (it's the windier end of the lake) and a truly amazing vista with the lake surrounded by beautiful mountains.
