Just another part of the old town to explore and come away with memories. To enjoy Riva del Garda town you must be prepared to use your legs and eyes for a full Italian expieriance.

This archway into the town is a bit of history. The town itself is lovely with lots of places to sit or have a coffee. There are quite a few shops and market stalls. There also is a lovely local church. Worth a visit.

Lovely part of the old town. The architecture in Italy is the best in the world. It's amazing to see old and intact architecture. Great old town to walk around with a camera.

Riva del Garda is one of the many pretty towns on Northern Lake Garda with some spectacular lake views, many peaceful walkways and even a little history thrown in for good measure. One such historical item is the 11th century Porta San Marco which was built by the Venetians. This is a delightful part of town close to the busy, vibrant Via Dante. A very pleasant area for a stroll with some good coffee shops and cafés en route.

As with the other city gate, this also has a great deal of charm and numerous photo ops. Both gates are must sees and something to experience.

There are quite a few structures/buildings in Riva Del Garda that date from many centuries ago. This city gate is surely one of the older ones.
