A little walk to go to the top but it is worth the climb. Of the top you have a nice view of riva. The clocks are also nice and the tower is still in very good shape

friendly cashier, easy walk up the wide stairs and an awesome view at sunset. Just watch out for the bell to get off

This tower is located in the centre. You pay about €1 each at the entrance. When you eventually make it up the stairs which can be a little tiring you are overwhelmed by the views all around you. Well worth doing!

Right in the centre of Riva, Torre Apponale is a good climb for fantastic views of the harbour and surrounding area. As mentioned before, remember the bells chime every quarter of an hour as it is extremely loud. I can vouch for this as it happened to us !

Great views from the top of the tower but there are 165 steps to climb. well worth the 2 Euro entrance. Be aware the bells chime every 15 minutes so if you are at the top when they start it can be very loud but well worth the climb up.

Located on the Piazza III Novembre, the Torre is worth paying the 2 euros for a good view over Riva and out over the northern stretches of the lake. As there is no lift, the climb provides good exercise but the 360 degree vistas really highlight how Riva is nestled into the surrounding hills and mountains, in stark contrast to... More

We have visited the Torre Apponale before when we were in Garda, but for the 2 Euro fee its worth going again. Just under 200 stairs makes this manageable for most people (there is no lift) and the views over the north side are amazing towards the mountains. Well worth a visit if you have a spare 30 mins or... More

We were getting so tired towards the end of busy day and were reluctant to spend time here however it is certainly the most interesting and beautiful of the Lake Garda towns and I wished that I could have spent more time there. The tower is the predominant sight after leaving the ferry. The town dates back to Roman times.

Great for photographs, take a bottle of water with you, you will need it when you get to the top as there are lots of steps.
