This beautiful medieval tower is very impressive to climb when visiting Riva.
The entrance fee is 2 Euros and after you have climbed the to 165 stairs you get stunning views over the lake and mountains.
Well worth a visit if you can manage the stairs.

A beautiful medieval tower is dominated the ancient port and the square of municipality, on the roof you can see a symbol of the city: the Anzolim of the tower, a golden weathervane

If you visit Riva del Garda spend a euro and climb the 165 wooden steps to the top of Apponale Tower for a great view of the town, harbour and lake.
Nothing else to say really only that its the best value for a euro you will get in Italy. Visit the nearby museum and the tower is free. Bargain! Also it closes from 12 to 1 for lunch.

Went there with a group of school kids on our first summer-camp day in Riva. Got everyone very excited. Visits for groups with children under the age of 12 are free. Not too tiring to get up the stairs, and you're greeted with the most beautiful views. Perfect for the look-around kind of trip.

Historic building in center of Riva, well worth climbing to the top and paying that 2 Euro fee just to admire the structure itself knowing it was built in 1200s but to enjoy the amazing views of Riva from the top. It is a little bit of a climb so be aware that if your joints/knees are a problem it could be a bit of a struggle, I saw an elderly gentle man who unfortunately gave up almost halfway to the top. But well worth it if you manage to get to the top.

The tower offers fantastic views over the town and northern end of the lake. The climb is not particularly demanding but it may be a good idea not to be at the top when the bell strikes the hour!

A must if you visit Riva Del Garda, only two euros entry and offers fantastic views over the town of Riva Del Garda. There are of course lots of steps, but they have been thoughtfully designed and are not to steep.

Well, the whole centre of the old town is lovely with little streets to walk through and many a cafe to enjoy a simple coffee or beer.

Climb to the top of the stairs and step out onto the top of the tower. You'll need a head for heights, especially if it's windy. Make sure you aren't there when the bell rings - it's deafening! However, the view is simply stunning: red-tiled roofs, narrow streets and piazzas, the lake and the majestic Dolomites.

Quite a climb and you'll get a bit of thigh burn, but worth it for the view. Fantastic, and only a euro!

Assolutamente sì, le scale sono ampie, ci passano comodamente due persone. Non sono sicuro, però, che l'accesso sia consentito anche agli animali.
