Very nice path up the mountain up to the bastion. Very scenery and shadow from the tree so it was not that hard to walk up the lovely path that leads to the Bastion. And when you reached the bastion you have a lovely view...More

A nice steep winding climb to the Bastion and the views are well worth it. Reward yourself with a nice refreshing drink at the lovely bar.

We walked up here on Christmas Day. It is not too long a walk, takes about 20 minutes from the town centre of Riva, but it is steep. It is worth it as the views from the bastion are lovely.

Worth the effort if you can manage the climb up the zig-zagging footpath. Free entry and a reasonably priced café when you get there. Recommend an early start before the day warms up!

Really recommend this visit although it is a bit of a climb but there are seats to have a wee rest but it's worth it and there's a lovely coffee shop at the top and the views are stunning

A gentle easy climb to the Bastion which was small but quite well preserved with a lovely restaurant by the side and fantastic views of Riva and the lake.

It was a very hard walk up to it for a very unfit person like me but well worth the effort. A cafe at the top and fantastic views.
