We chose this amazing beach for our first day of honeymoon. We were astonished about the sparkling beach itself and the very clean sea water. We swam the whole morning and decided to have an aperitive with a Spritz at noon. The owner of the bar was very nice with us, she talked us in a very frank and friendly way that we appreciated a lot. The password for this beach and services is "respect": the place, the bar, the job of owners and you'll be respected back and treated friendly. We'll surely be back as we come in the island. Thanks Anna for the rock soul place and music and for the funny chat too :)

Unique beach, homemade food, good quality and very tasty. The bathroom is held by Mrs. Anna, fantastic, a character, but one who needs to be understood. Her son works with her and makes great cocktails. Overall affordable prices. In my opinion Topinetti represents the essence of the island of Elba, it is worth spending at least a day there.

Wild beach at the right point. Pebbles and sand with shiny, shimmering notes. The sea is a crystal... wonderful. Not many people. Park on the dirt road close to the beach. So convenient and free. And then Anna's booth!!! Unfortunately no coffee, the machine was broken and no aperitif!!

New year, new visit. We went there at sunset on a Friday. Fabulous bath, breakfast and then dinner for 10 with jazz music in the background.
Anna had prepared a delicious Livorno-style cod, some mussels with top stew and finally a swordfish carpaccio with fresh cherry tomatoes with flakes.
The cocktails are also excellent. Correct price for the quality of the food and location.

ps anyone who doesn't appreciate Anna for her frankness doesn't understand the big heart she puts into everything..

Pleasantly surprising

We found this little bar by the sea, while looking for a quiet beach to spend the afternoon... we fell in love with it! The lady is a Toscanaccia who seems to have come out of a caricature! We chatted pleasantly throughout the meal!
As she says.. "if you're a pussy, it's not the right place"
Let's make do a little! But it's all top quality! True Mediterranean tastes! Simple and without frills..
but really! Go and have a chat with Anna! Who holds court as only Tuscans are able to do! We will be back without a doubt!!

Such a beautiful place, so natural and not very commercial. The bus goes there, but it might be better to come with a car or motorbike. Loved it!

Black sand with great beach hut cafe

Lovely calm water, kids loved the black sand. Beach hut cafe served great burgers, ice creams and drinks. Worth a visit if you're in Rio Marina.

Bars to avoid

Avoid the bar if it can be called a bar. I don't understand how they can give management to such a person. If you go to eat you cannot sit because otherwise you will dirty the tables. And let's not talk about the dirt inside the bar.

Good burger...

Top beach, black sand that shines in the sea, truly beautiful, organized beach with sunbeds and umbrellas and lots of free beach. I wasn't able to understand the little bar, the owner is a character, in the end if you know how to get her she's also nice, but oh well, she's as big as a house. We returned twice, we drank spritzes and beers at the bar, everything was fine except that they don't take the post but that's okay, between one chat and another we got on well and the owner promised us that if we returned the the next evening she would let us taste her famous burgers just for us, we more than willingly accepted even though it was an hour's drive from where we were staying, telling her for a moment our commitments and the time we would arrive... the next evening, we arrive 20 minutes late for people who don't know how to drive, we weren't able to warn them because they don't even have a telephone number, the story ends with the owner yelling at us saying that at this time she wouldn't be able to eat...it was 8.15pm... she looks at us and tells us that she only has one sandwich left (did they steal the other one? No, she made someone else eat it). Solution, booked somewhere else on the fly and we ate two pizzas and wasted a two hour drive.. how bitter..
