I want to echo all of the wonderful accolades other reviews have given this wonderful experience, but I also thought it might be helpful to describe how the class works. The class starts in the morning, 10AM; the participants (about 16-18) are seated at a long beautiful table on the veranda with an incredible view of the gardens and Mediterranean.... More

My wife and I have taken many cooking classes and this by far was the best. It is an all day affair and was the highlight of my wife's and my visit to the Amalfi coast. There was a great group (about 17 in all) of participants in this class . Chiara is one of the most lovely individuals I... More

My husband & I were lucky enough to spend a day at Mamma Agata's Amalfi cooking class. What a wonderful day & one of our trip highlights! Set in their family home with spectacular views overlooking the coast, we were treated to a mouth watering & wonderful day of cooking & eating. Chiara, Mamma Agata's daughter, sets the tone of... We were recommended mamma agata and were delivered exactly what we wanted. Ciara was so delightful and great personality! She was lovely and humorous at the same time. Food was amazing. And we learned sooooo much. I love to cook and my boyfriend who is not as much a chef.... Bragged about the experience and knowledge he learned.

Although I haven't been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Italy in order to attend Mamma Agata's cooking school, I did do the next best thing by purchasing her cookbook! It has change the way I cook my sauce and opened my eyes to new ways of cooking some Italian classics and some I have never had before. My... More

Right away we were greeted by Mamas daughter Chiara who was so welcoming very hospitable funny and had such a warm heart. We felt at home right away!Although the class isn't hands on the knowledge... Learn how to cook authentic Italian basics with the best chefs. The passion that Mamma Agata and her daughter exude about cooking is infectious. The food was out of this world. The lemon cake, the hell paper, fritters, the sausage pasta.... Enjoy learning how to make these, then eat them in the most amazing terrace with coastal views. I am... More

A really fun day to spend a day. We learned great tips on cooking and ate the most amazing food as we watched Mama Agata and her daughter (who speaks perfect English) and demonstrate everything. Lots of social time with the 5 or six other couples. Mama's daughter is a great hostess. Don't eat before coming. Lots of food and... More

This class is an entire day and there a lot of food. Too food much in my opinion. I did learn a lot of interesting cooking tips that were very helpful. Expensive for very simple food. Pretty setting.

The first thing I thought of when we booked this class was, "Wow, that's pretty pricey, I hope it's worth it." But seriously, IT WAS SO WORTH IT. This ended up being the best day of our entire trip. My theory on things is always keep expectations low - even though deep down in my gut they are extremely high... More
