The first thing I thought of when we booked this class was, "Wow, that's pretty pricey, I hope it's worth it." But seriously, IT WAS SO WORTH IT. This ended up being the best day of our entire trip. My theory on things is always keep expectations low - even though deep down in my gut they are extremely high... More

Mama Agata's cooking class was the highlight of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. I don't know where to start: the food, the gardens, the views, or the amazing family? This experience is the full package! Mama Agata, Chiara, Gennaro are an amazing team who will keep you smiling and eating delicious food all day long! Chiara was extremely attentive... More

We enjoyed every minute we spent with Chiara, Mamma, and Gennaro and we were sad when it was over. It was, hands down, some of the best food we ate during our entire 10 day honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast (we love a great home cooked meal with authentic ingredients!). Chiara is a gem and if she lived in the... More

Thanks you so much from Mr & Mrs Harley, such an amazing day. Felt so welcome and had a fantastic day with you and your family. Stunning location, wonderful fresh produce and shared with love. Wish red wine could be purchased as it was delicious. I think josh may be converted to eating aubergine 😜 Thank you love Beth and... More

Absolutely fantastic experience which really can't be topped. The hosts are wonderful and the food is incredible. You spend the day in a beautiful home with fabulous views and you get to eat food prepared in a traditional, southern Italian way. This was our second visit and it's well worth the money. For clarification, it's more of a demonstration of... More

Prior to arriving in Ravello for an extended vacation, eight of us decided to sign up for Mamma Agata's Cooking Class...which turned out to be the best decision we made during the entire trip! Chiara, Mamma Agata's daughter, leads this instructional class and she is an absolute delight...personable, warm, engaging, knowledgeable, and so, so entertaining! This class takes most of... More

This was my fourth time taking cooking class with Mamma, Chiara and Gennaro and it never gets old. After my first time, I knew I discovered a gem so I had to return with my husband and son, again with my brother and just recently with my sister-in-law and her family. Words cannot adequately describe the fabulous experience. Chiara is... More

We spent the most wonderful day with Mamma Agata, Chiara, Gennaro and her lovely family. Chiara is the perfect host with incredible personal skills remembering everybody's name, nationality and her knowledge of the world is amazing, not to mention her funny stories. My husband and I were attending the day but Chiara opened her home also to my daughter who... More

Chiara, the hostess and driving force behind Mamma Agate's, is a wonderfully welcoming amazing cook with a passion for healthy organic food. As others have remarked, it is expensive but so worth it if you can afford it. From the welcome drink and lemon cake to the farewell homemade limoncello and another slice of lemon cake, you will be treated like... More

One of our favorite things we did during two weeks on our Italian honeymoon. Chiara welcomes strangers who share a love of food into her family's home of 250 years with open arms and a lovely and charismatic disposition. With freedom to roam the beautiful gardens, plenty of time in her kitchen observing and tasting, and enjoy the company of... More
