Not far away from the famous church there is a charming old square with the lovely church of San Giuseppe. Have the walk, it is worth it.

In Piazza Pola, a bit further down from the duomo, this church is well worth a visit. It has a lovely baraoque facade which is a little like the duomo but on a smaller scale. Lovely interior.

While some people may consider the Chiesa San Giuseppe to take a second place to the Duomo, it is lovely in it's own way. Located on a smaller piazza a couple of blocks away from the Duomo, it should definitely be visited and enjoyed.

Superb baroque examle. Worth going in when open. This church is an example of a class above some other Sicilian churches. The exterior architecture is a superb example.

Even though the facade is smaller and less spectacularly placed than that of the Duomo, it looks to us, more sophisticated, as it rises inexorably in serpentine tiers. Loved the canopied window above the door. The elliptical interior has particular charm
