    Excellent🤗😋!
The view is stunning! Their toasted tomato and tuna sandwich is crunchy and delicious after our hike of the Path of the Gods. Their toasted prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich is equally tasty. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed. All yummy😋. Service is friendly, and I appreciate their young girl who brought our sandwiches to us.

    A delightful hike.
It is amazing. The views are spectacular, so it's no surprise that it's a popular hike. Wear appropriate shoes for hiking and bring plenty of water. For a delightful break, stop at the shepherd's hut for a tasty snack of fresh goat cheese, lemonade, tomatoes and freshly baked bread. He brings supplies up each day loaded on a donkey and has a small herd of goats penned up near his hut. At Nocelle, you can either catch a bus to Positano or continue the hike to Positano.

    Beautiful
The path of the gods was a fantastic experience. We travelled from Sorrento to Bomerano on train and bus, with Google map's help. We arrived in Bomerano at 8am, had a coffee in a cafe and set off. The path was very well signposted. The hike is just beautiful with views of the Amalfi coast all the way along. Some parts were tricky but it was a gradual incline. We arrived in Nocelle at lunchtime, refreshed ourselves with lemon granitas and thought we'd brave the 1700 steps to Positano, which were horrendous on the knees! We spent the afternoon in Positano and got the ferry back to Sorrento at 5ish. It was the best day!

Spectacular view but be extra careful that there are no railings
Great and beautiful hike. Fill up water and supplies at the town of Bomerano if you’re going downhill and stop for lunch at Nocelle where the views are stunning. Relatively easy for seasoned hikers but bring enough water and a hat as the sun can increase the difficulty. Hiking boots recommended in case it rains and gets slippery. There are many tourists hiking this trail and 118 available to call, easy to call for help if needed. The beautiful view can be deceiving, it’s important to note there are no railings in most parts. If you have young toddlers a hiking carrier is a must. There are areas that requires both hands to climb and it is extremely dangerous to have a young kid hike this trail. A 21 yo woman fell off the train into a cliff drop the day we hiked and unfortunately lost her life and another tourist fell off by the low walls towards Positano a month ago and didn’t make it. When we researched the path very few people mentioned the potential danger so wanted to write this post as a reminder.

Beautiful hike - must do when in the area!
It's worth the ferry and bus ride to the start, the path is beautiful and peaceful and surprisingly not that crowded in the summer. We finished our hike in Positano and celebrated with some delicious fresh juices. Worth checking out if you make the trip to the Amalfi coast!

    Gorgeous hike!
Gorgeous hiking path along the Amalfi Coast. A nice way to see Positano and a view of the sea from afar. If you’re in the Amalfi Coast for a couple of days, definitely put this on your to-do list!

Enjoy the views but be careful not to trip.
As others stated wonderful views. We walked down but did not do the stairs into Positano. I think my knees will thank me for that. If you are over 65 and not an experienced hiker I suggest a guide. There are some sections where you are climbing up and down the rocks rather than hiking.

    Excellent hike
We didn’t tackle the entire path — actually only a short portion, but it was well worth it. The views were spectacular! It is steep and those like myself with vertigo issue will find it quite challenging. Also, watch out for mule poop — lots of it! But even if you can only manage a few miles, it’s worth the trip.

Views forever, a highlight of my trip to the Amalfi Coast
This was part of a self guided walking tour with the Natural Adventure Company and it had amazing views of the Amalfi Coast. This hike is not for novices!! Hiking boots and poles are highly recommended and make sure you bring plenty of water and wear a hat as a lot of the walk is in direct sun. There was one point where you needed to scramble over a couple of large rocks (I am only 163 cm tall). I loved it and there were many hikers on the path both self guided like myself and a few small groups with guides. We hiked from Bomerano to Nocelles which with the inclines is probably much easier than from Nocelles to Bomerano. I am a fit 65 year old who walks 10-15 kms a day and I found it challenging in several places.

    Windows on the Mediterranean
I've hiked this trail twice and enjoyed it immensely both times. Starting from Agerola to Positano and then from Positano to Praiano, the experience was truly spectacular. This hike is like gazing through windows onto the Mediterranean, offering immersive natural scenery. The path is well-maintained and clean. It does require a good level of fitness, but the breathtaking views make it well worth the effort

The only worrd that can come to my mind after a day at tue PATH of Gods: Breath taking. A trakking PATH you can not miss.
If you plan to go all the way down from Agerola to Positano, make sure that you know how to come back (if you don't want to walk back). You can take buses or a cab but if it's a crowded day, you can have problems and being in a messy line forever.

My daughter and I hiked The Path of the Gods a week ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend you get a local guide to accompany you, ours knew the history of the area and the names, uses of all the plants and herbs. Around every bend you will find a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, part of the Mediterranean. I would call this hike moderately difficult. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes. This is a must.

Highly recommend doing this hike - it is certainly doable for anyone of normal fitness and the views were unlike anything I have ever seen. You can really see as far as the end of the sea! The path can get thin (and the cliff drop is extremely high) so do make sure you're only going when it's clear skies. Take water as there won't be stops until the end.

We hiked up from Fuoro / Praiano to the start of the path, then to Nocelle, and then took the steps down. The hardest parts by far were the paths up from Praiano ( it is extremely steep up so would recommend starting from the actual path in Bomerano for a much easier walk. There are 1700 steps from Nocelle down to the bottom of the road near Positano- while it wasn't hard going down, I wouldn't recommend doing it if you're planning to do hikes the next day as our calves had delayed onset pain for several days, which made walking down stairs quite painful! Something to bear in mind.

Wow, what an amazing hike!! You get the most incredible views in the Amalfi Coast while doing this hike. We started in Bomerano and worked our way back to Positano, we even did the over 1,500 stairs from Nocelle. In all it took us about 3 hours. We started the hike early in the morning around 7:00 and did not see many people. It was also awesome to see the sun rise over the mountains. You might be sore the next day but you will be glad you did this hike.

We truly enjoyed the Sentiero degli Dei walk on the Costiera Amalfitana. Staying in Positano we took the public bus to Praiano, exited at Hotel Smeraldo and started the walk by taking 1200 or so steps up. After an hour or so we arrived on top walked for an 1-1.5 hours to Nocelle with breathtaking views of the mediterranean and Positano. Arriving in Nocelle we had a granita on the church square (better and cheaper than the booth right at the entrance of Nocelle). From Nocelle‘s church square we then took again 1.000 steps, but now fortunately down again. In the end we followed the main road for 1 km to be back in Positano after 3.5h.
A great activity, tiring esp in the southern heat, but definitely an experience. Take enough water !

TIPS. I’ve done it twice. Choose direction Bomerano to Nocelle, this way the scenery is ahead, instead of behind you, and at the end you climb down (not up!) 1700+ steps to get back to the main road near Positano. It takes about 25 minutes to get from Amalfi to Bomerano by bus (then another 10-15 min walk to the trail). Do it in the morning, so you walk mostly in the shade, protected by the mountain. The actual trail can be completed in roughly 2 hours, but I would plan for at least 3-4 hours (bus, finding the trail, water breaks, taking pictures, 20-30 min walking down the steps at the end, etc).

Lovely hike and beautiful scenery. The hike is not difficult at all if you’re in decent shape, there are some areas in which you climb some steps, but nothing too crazy.
It took us around 2 hours and a half with water stops to complete it from Bomerano to Nocelle. You can get a bus from Amalfi to Bomerano (which includes splendid views as well) and then from Nocelle there is another bus that brings you to Positano.
Bring lots of water, good shoes and a hat as it’s pretty sunny in some parts.

This is a very scenic cliff-side trek with sweeping views of the coast. Unfortunately, the weather played spoilsport on the day, so it was cloudy and misty, and rained as well - which impacted clarity of the views, but made it all quite dramatic.

We took the bus from Amalfi to Bomerano (check bus schedules, we'd have liked to start earlier but service is limited on Sundays and holidays) and followed the signs to the trailhead. The path itself is not very well signposted, but its hard to stray off course. It's not very hard or dangerous as such, but there are parts that are steep with minor scrambling and sections with loose rock so need to be sure footed and careful. Take enough water and snacks to fuel up en route.

We took about 2 hours from Bomerano to Nocelle, keeping a brisk pace. From Nocelle,it is possible to walk but we were tired and took the bus to Positano. After exploring gorgeous Positano, we took a late evening bus back to our B&B in Amalfi.

A view well worth the trip. It's one of the best views on the Amalfi coast and quite easy accessible. It can be quite crowded, so good to visit it a bit earlier in the morning or during lunch time.
