This stretch of coastline has often been described as the most beautiful in the entire Mediterranean. One afther another, green and rocky mountainsp lunge dramatically into the mediterranean blue sea. The famouse Amalfi Coast road clings to the mountainsides revealing a succession of picturebook wiews each seemingly more stunning than the one before. Not so many years ago much of this coast was only accessible by boat. Now it is a fashionable resort area which retains the charm of past times.

A beautiful little village hanging off the cliffs. Busy at times and a brown shingle beach but the higgledy piggledy, narrow lanes leading up to the road is great fun. Not for the unfit - take your time.

By far the better choice compared with the beach at the docks in Positano. Has about three restaurants with chairs and umbrellas to rent. I paid €8 for a chair, umbrella, and shower and changing room access. Lunch ranged from €5ish upwards and was good. Bring your own sunscreen though because the ones they had on sale for €18.

Not happily surprise. You can go by boat or walking. I expected more from this place. Food in the area was nothing special, better to go back to the center of Positano.

Came here with my daughter and enjoyed a lovely capucino and a gelato, great place, lovely atmosphere, and view of the Amalfi coast, we walked down and enjoyed the shops and the scenery.

best beach in Positano. The Cafe there is very good great burgers. Lots of steps to get to beach. Be sure to bring "reef walkers" or beach shoes as very rocky shore. Water is much cleaner than Grand Spiaggia

Small beach with comfortable chairs and optional attendants. Restaurants, bars, and clean bathrooms are nearby.

While this beach still gets busy around 1-2pm, it's not as overbearingly crowded as Positano main beach. When looking at the sea, it's to the right. There are a bunch of beach restaurants/bars that hire out the chairs for about 9€ (11€ if you go first row) that generally include a chair & umbrella, beach hut, water taxi back to Positano... We went to this beach first before checking out the main beach. Fornillo is definitely a better beach. Cleaner water, not too crowded. €8 will get you a sunbed. Our kids loved it.

After nearly being ripped of at the neighbouring beach this was by far the better option with less crowding and sensible prices

do yourself a favor and splurge the 8 euro for the beach chair and umbrella - the sun is incredibly strong.
