Like all the other comments, this is a busy area, it's near the main port, and the heart of Positano. The beach is crowded but when in the water you just bob along and look at the stunning view. There are lots of different style rentals of deck chairs and umbrellas as well as showers toilets etc. Plenty of restaurants... More

Do you want a great beach in which you don't lose the sun the in the afternoon (like, after 15h)? Then, this is the place. It is big, one of the best beaches you can go for a full day of tan, amazing water, characteristic narrow pathways to get down there, and tiny black stones all the way through. Do... More

For scenery alone this is 5 stars, add vibrant atmosphere, gelato, a deck chair and cold drink...well maybe thats my perfect ingredient for a perfect visit to the beach. Its wonderful, and sometimes you just need to embrace the fact that places like this aren't a secret and crowds are inevitable in summer. Zone out and enjoy a perfectly wonderful... More

Gorgeous to look at and take pictures of. In person, it's fairly packed and busy during the day, so I would recommend renting an umbrella (almost no "free" space). At night it's incredibly relaxing and a fun environment to be around, with plenty of people around sipping on drinks quietly in the dark.

Found this beach to be more accessible with 2 small kids (less steps). Much busier than Spiaggia Fornillo, but on the positive side, there are many restaurants and shops right there. At first I was a little turned off by how bust it was, but once I was in the water and turned around toward town, I was floored. The... More

The quintessential Italian beach with a beautiful backdrop of the magical vertical city of Positano. A nice place to stroll, lounge and people watch.

This beach looks amazing on photos, however, it's very uncomfortable. Make sure you wear swimming shoes because it hurts to walk on the pebbles, especially when they get hot from the sun. I was surprised to see they charge for the public shower (50 euro cents, if I remember correctly). We arrived at about 3 pm and the water was... More
