We hired a water taxi to take us to Amalfi from Positano and back. Our experience was first rate. The staff had additional challenges that day, as the normal docking pier was unavailable. They handled the problem without any delays to us. Our driver, Rondu, was wonderful. He managed the waves expertly, keeping our ride relatively smooth, and mentioned points of interest along the way. I would highly recommend this service, and Rondu in particular.

We were splurging on a family experience and this one did not disappoint. Our family group ages 7 to 65 all had a great time on the Itama 38 private tour. Can't say enough about Captain Giuseppe. He took us to a private beach for a swim, into some beautiful grottos (and I mean in, there was barely room for the boat and he piloted it expertly) and around the island of Capri. Our half day tour was a highlight of our trip. Yes it is a little pricey, but can you say PRICELESS for all of us. I doubt any of us will ever forget the trip. When you look at the cost of taking a normal tour (ferry or water taxi) for a group of 7, it wasn't that much more and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Unforgettable experience sailing on a boat along the Amalfi coast (took option without skipper). Despite weather delaying us going out in the sea, company offered as multiple options and tried to be as flexible as possible to suit our needs. We will definitely recommend it to anyone who is willing to take their Positano visit to completely next level! 🇮🇹

DO NOT rent from this place. We rented a boat for 4 hours. Arrived on time, waited in line for 20 minutes and finally got on the boat at 9:30. The captain gave us a brief driving lesson, and told us we could return at 1:30. Only restriction was to stay outside of 50 meters from the coast and that we could not go to Capri. On our way back, the engine started sputtering, the boat kept slowing down and then the engine died altogether. Thankfully, one of us had service so we called Grassi. If we didn’t, I am not sure what we’d have done because the boat had NO radio.
Two hours later, they sent a boat with gas and then we were on our way. Upon returning, there were no apologies offered, and they blamed us for “going way past where we were supposed to go,” and said that we made the mistake of using 3 hours of gas (for a 4 hour trip? Clearly full of BS, these people).
They then proceeded to charge us double and blame us for “losing their sale” (referring to the group booked after our time slot).
Two hours later, they sent a boat with gas and then we were on our way. Upon returning, there were no apologies offered, and they blamed us for “going way past where we were supposed to go,” and said that we made the mistake of using 3 hours of gas (for a 4 hour trip? Clearly full of BS, these people).

Purchased a ferry ticket from Amalfi to Salerno 2 days in advance of the trip directly from their website. Booked due to the fast time noted from port to port. At the ferry dock 45 minutes early. They were a NO SHOW. No advance warning even though they had my email. According to the ferry workers they didn’t show the day before either. Currently trying to get a refund and the website is not user friendly in this department. Book with the well known companies.

Like most other 1 star reviews, they cancelled our ferry and did not tell us whatsoever. No communication at all. Called the customer service line and it was extremely hard to hear - there was so much talking in the background in their end. I recommend any other ferry service.

If you want a trip through the Mediterranean to melt your troubles away, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
I rented a boat through them with a “full tank of gas” to explore the coast of Italy, which ran out only half way through our 4 hour rental. This is something that seems obvious to avoid, other than the fact the fuel gage was not working and we were told this would be plenty of gas for the entire rental period. In our moment of panic, stranded in the middle of the Mediterranean, we frantically searched for a radio to report our problem, only to find there was not one on board. By the grace of god we were close enough to the shoreline to be able to call for help. After a 45 minute phone conversation with us telling them multiple times where we were (while we drifted further away from shore), we were finally able to get a boat sent for help only because our friend on shore insisted they send one out to help.
After this entire escapade, we finally made it back to shore after being stranded for hours. As we were only prepared for a 4 hour rental (not a 6), we were running out of sunscreen and got badly sunburnt.
When we went to talk about the company about our experience and to warn them about the broken fuel gauge we were berated and told it was our fault and would be charged DOUBLE due to us getting back late and the afternoon rental not being able to take the boat out. I am happy for the afternoon rental their experience was only getting their rental canceled, and not being cast adrift and with no way to call for help.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you are considering using them, please read below. I never write reviews but wanted to warn fellow travelers. Four months ago, we booked this private boat tour for our anniversary to see the blue grotto, a lifelong dream of ours. The day before our tour, we got a suspicious email that our Boat ride was canceled. We reached out to them and asked what happened and they claimed we did not pay our deposit. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our last night in Florence we were rushing to figure out what happened to the reservation we booked 4 months ago. We responded with a screenshot of the receipt from our deposit and asked them to please double check to confirm our deposit was received. They came back to us and said “oh we found it, sorry our mistake. See you tomorrow.” We confirmed once again just to be sure, they sent us a confirmation code and everything seemed fine.
The next morning, we are in Positano and go to their booth to get on our boat. As soon as we show up to the booth it was clear something was wrong. They said that our reservation has been canceled because “you did not pay the deposit”. We explained the entire situation and showed them the chain of emails confirming our reservation. They then said they could not help us at all, there was nothing they could do since there were no more boats available that day. Keep in mind, we reserved a boat for the day of our anniversary 4 months ago. They told us to call their manager. After being so rudely pushed aside, I called their manager and they said that they were sorry and blamed one of their colleagues. They said that we could have a boat the next day - why would I ever book with such an untrustworthy company again? For us, we did not get our anniversary celebration we booked so far in advance, but more importantly, I am writing this review because we spoke with MULTIPLE other families/couples in Positano that morning and the following days, and they had the exact same experience.
PLEASE READ: After they canceled our reservation, we were speaking with other families and couples around the ticket offices who had the EXACT SAME STORY. The cancelation email, the follow up email not to worry, and then canceled again upon arrival. There are many other reviews (mostly on Google, not TripAdvisor) where people had a horrible experience even when they did get on their boat. Please read other reviews for clarity. Also, couples who trusted they could have a reservation for the next day were canceled on a SECOND time.
Due to a lot of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor I assume that at some point this was a good and trustworthy company. After our experience and talking to the families around us who were distraught about getting this once in a lifetime experience taken away from them it was clear that something is going wrong here and that this is a scam. What we assume is that they are taking the deposit, and over booking. ALSO, it’s been 5 days and we haven’t gotten our refund of the deposit yet - they said it would be 2 business days.
To end on a positive note, we were able to get another boat after going to every single boat tour company in Positano. We had an amazing experience with the company who has an orange booth on the beach. Thank you for reading this and we hope that no one has the same horrible experience with this company.

I agree that in your case it was an unfortunate mistake: your deposit did not appear in our system and the tickets have been resold. On that day we had all the boats booked and it was not possible for us to offer you an alternative. However, we have refunded 100% of the tickets immediately (the days to be credited to your account depend on your bank, not us). We are sorry for what happened but we could not help but refund you, we would have liked to give you more boats ... but they were all booked.

Due to bad weather the full day trip was resumed to a half-day, terrible trip. We had 4 children who were scared the whole trip. The decision to not cancel the trip was taken by Grassi Junior and not ours. After 3 scarring frozen hours they offered 20% off discount. We did not accept and request at least 50% since we did not enjoy and the trip was not completed not even 40%. They did not accept and we consider extremely unfair and impolite this decision. NOT RECOMMEND ATT ALL!

It's not true that we are dishonest because when they lived the weather was good and the sea very calm. They asked to go but suddenly, after 2 hours, the weather and the sea worsened. Anyway they arrived in Capri and came back. We asked the money ONLY FOR THE 4 HOURS EXCURSION and not for the full day and also WE OFFERED ANOTHER FREE FULL DAY EXCURSION with the good weather because we want our guest are always happy and satisfied.

Stay far far away from this company, they are the booth on the Positano pier to the far right! DO NOT RESERVE A BOAT ESPECIALLY! They are a very dangerous company to trust. Two family members were stranded on the ocean miles from shore for almost 2 hours drifting away from Amalfi. BOTTOM LINE: the gas guage did not work and they ran out of gas after only 3 hours into a 4 hour tour and received only rude comments when they called (luckily mobile still worked). I had to yell at the useless, clueless rude woman at the booth and then talked to Paulo the owner who said "don't worry"....seriously? I'm not kidding it was super stressful and hope they go out of business.

Good afternoon
What would be your rate, and do you have availability for a 2 hour boat tour along the coast, in the afternoon of Sept 2nd 2018. We will arrive approx 1pm into Praiano on Sept 2nd. The next morning we will need to continue on down the coast via car.
I was thinking that the afternoon of Sept 2nd would be perfect to see the coastline via boat. We would probably just want to site see and not swim.
