I have visited this beach with my wife during our Tuscany Italy trip. At the end of September the beach was not crowded at all and the water is so clear and beautifully blue and green. The coast is covered with white roundish small rocks. There is a rock island close to the coast which has a small cave: I... More

I visited Sansone Beach during my summer vacation in August; arriving from the street it appears in all its splendor !!!! colours of the sea vary from white to torquoise, from light green to light blue going on to deep blue. Beach is made of small rounded stones, but you can lay without any problems. I reccommend to do snorkelling... More

It's an amazing virgin beach, but the way is kind of tough. As an advice: please go with tennis shoes as you need to walk around 10 minutes through the mountain to get to the beach

A little bit hard to get to, but it's worth it! We were there with sunset. No people on the beach. Magic!

All the beautiful photos were obviously taken in the low season - we thought it might still be quietish given that it was only June but it was mobbed!! Quite a narrow strip of white beach with glorious turquoise waters but not a space even to sit...sun beds galore and not the wild beach I was expecting - beautiful nonetheless.... More

The best beaches in Tuscany are on the island of Elba. High season sees huge crowds but you can always find a little secret tucked away. April is low season so you will be in a quite paradise. This beach is absolutely stunning; not if you like sand, but small white pebbles make swimming a paradise (crystal clear waters). It... More

We were there in April - low season, and we were alone!!! The car parking on the road is rather small, there's a little bit difficult path to reach it, it is not sandy but pebble but... it's wonderful!!! And the beach LA SORGENTE (the first one from the road) is wonderful, too!!!

It's a big experience to visit the island where Napoleon Bonaparte was in exile from May 4th 1814 until February 26th 1815. It is a beautiful island and definitely worth to visit it when you are in the province of Livorno.
