We visited Port Cervo for just a couple of hours while we were in the area. It's a bit like Disneyland for rich grown ups! The town is pristine and a bit too perfect. It's also full of very expensive shops and some smart restaurants...More

We are spending a week at Cervo Hotel, smack in the middle of Porto Cervo. Its bar is directly located on the piazzetta. During the hottest summer days I gather must be next to impossible to stay outside, too hot, but now it’s great. june...More

Porto Cervo is an amazing village, probably the best you can find along the coast in the northern of the island

It was really quite in October, for sure a bit artificial, but cute and insolite, colorful houses with smooth shapes, some green patches here and there, a white church that seems belonging to a cartoon, nice view on the port (the old one is nicer,...More

I was told by one of my Italian colleagues that if you go to Sardinia the Costa Smeralda is a must see. He was right, and in particular Porto Cervo is a must see. Its harbour is lined with some of the most luxurious boats...More

Though it is relatively a recent village (1950's/1960's) it has its own character having established itself as a fancy and luxurious destination where multi-million boats moor in the port and drop by to shop the most luxurious brands in the world. Rarely have i seen...More

Porto Cervo must offer one of the best holidays in the world. Besides the stunning views, sunsets and location on our planet - it is right nearby the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Travel to town of Paese (1 Replies)
We are staying in Venice in the spring. My family is originally from Paese, and we'd like to go visit the town and maybe have lunch. It looks like Paese is not very far from Venice. What is the best method to travel from one to the other and back? We'd only be interested in visiting for a half day or so. I see there are trains the run to Treviso, but it looks like nothing to Paese? Any advise appreciated.
