This town has a number of great restaurants, bars, hotels. Luxury shopping of almost all major brands. Pleasant to walk through.

Porto Cervo is a purpose-built 'village' which is little more than a posh shopping mall...contrived and completely soulless. It doesn't really work unless you like strolling around gaudy but ultimately wearisome shops...there is even a Rolls Royce dealership (yawn!). It really doesn't represent the best...More

There are few places where I don’t feel I belong. Porto Cervo is one of those. Entirely artificial and uncomfortably so. Created for the billionaire crowd, so best avoided if you are not one.

Set in the jagged beauty of the Costa Smeralda, this “prestigious resort” (the travel agent’s words, not mine) is the result of a misbegotten liaison between Hobbiton and a sixties concept housing development, all slapped around a Sardinian inlet. If you like your yachts super,...More

There is free parking, which you will need if you plan to shop here. Everything is designer - but window shopping is fun too. There are very large bonsai style trees decorating the area and many restaurants. Elit Cafe is the most reasonable and quite...More

Built quite some ago Porto Cervo is best seen in season, as in now. It's a tiny Sloane Street so go if you have means. Oherwise avoid. It will only malke you angry. I loved it and so did my wife.

Very disappointed with Porto cervo. Was expecting a quaint small town overlooking the harbour. Instead we found a couple of purpose built squares housing famous brands such as Versace, Rolex, Armani etc etc. No bars or vibrancy about the place as no one there. Almost...More
