This place is really a pearl of this side of Elba. It takes a bit to reach it but it deserves the walk in the sun. You will reach a stone beach between a lake and the sea with a beautiful underwater sight. There are no services there so bring your lunch with you and also a beach umbrella if you are planning to stay some hours. Some rock shoes may be also needed if your not so used to walk in underwater rocks. If you don't wish to walk too much that's not your place but you'll miss a great view.

Spiaggia di terranera is a curious place where a small lake lays close to a beach, where in old times iron mines used to work minerals.... shining and black sand is the most unique feature of this beach, reachable 5 minutes easy walk from the car park. Access to seawater is not so comfortable, but water is crystal clear and you can see octopus, squid, starfish....
Really a beautiful place!!
