โ€ฆ. the long nave of fourteenth-century origins (but full of nineteenth-century architectural ideas), full of many interesting things ๐Ÿง!

Among them all stand out: the large Pictorial Altarpiece ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ dedicated to San Giorgio and created by a certain Gasparo Narvesa (local craftsman of the 16th century), those ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ dedicated to Sant'Anna and Santa Lucia both attributed to Michelangelo Grigoletti (also a local artist of the 19th century), the one ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ dedicated to Saint Anthony and attributed to a certain Pio Rossi (nineteenth century).

We also observe ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ in the arches of the Apse the Frescoes ๐Ÿ–๏ธ relating to scenes of the Annunciation and created at the beginning of the last century by the painter Tribuzio Donadon.

And then โ€ฆโ€ฆ. the carved stone stoups, the wooden pulpit hanging on the left wall, the dark right side chapel with the crucifix, the pipe organ in the choir above the entrance!

Summary: many things enclosed in a nice "container"!

No comment

L'attuale edificio sacro รจ in stile neoclassico.

The church of San Giorgio did not particularly fascinate us. Of nineteenth-century origin, neoclassical style, the faรงade designed by the Pordenone architect Bassi. Inside, note the stoups by Antonio Marsure and an altarpiece by Michelangelo Grigoletti. The bell tower, on the other hand, is characteristic and consists of a Doric style column on which four giants stand out supporting a ball, the world, on which stands the statue of Saint George piercing the dragon with his spear.
