Amazing walking tour of Pistoia
Throughout this two-hour walking tour, uncover the beauty and mysteries of this city!
Starting from the Piazza San Francesco d'Assisi, your guide will lead you to one of the many monuments that will be idolized on this tour, the Church of San Giovanni Fuorcivitas.
Continuing to our next destination is the Piazza del Duomo, which encompasses some of the most important buildings in the city. The domination of the square, however, belongs to the ancient bell tower. Progressing on to the next locations, there are the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Corte and the Cathedral of San Zeno. Inside these Cathedral contains the Treasure of San Jacopo, along with its famous Silver Altar.
In the Piazza del Duomo, three important buildings exist: Palazzo Vescovile (the residence of the bishops until 1700), Palazzo Pretorio (currently the seat of the court), and the Palazzo Comunale.
At the conclusion of the tour, our final stop will be at the famous Pieve di Sant 'Andrea.

We happened to go on one of the hottest days of the year--it was well over 100 F. But we enjoyed our time there. It is fairly easy to find, though out in the country a bit. Many of the animals were not doing much due to the heat, though the penguins were active (they were

It is small though it is really nice. It is in the woods and this makes the experience much better. The animals look better in such a natural environment compare to other more artificial zoos. I strongly recommend it if you have young kids.

We visited the zoo on a sunny afternoon in October with our 3year old. The entrance fee is reasonable and there was enough parking close to the entrance. There are many animals, from horses to elephants. Some of them, including the giraffe, you can feed (0.20€/per portion).

My family attended at the Pistoia Zoo on 29 September 2018. We arrived shortly after 0930 hours and would have been the first people on the zoo all day. Our first impression was highly disappointing and quite frankly rude and disrespectful. The man at the ticket booth decided it
